Well, it's good, but I confess to not being able to watch it when he takes her to the cinema -- it makes me cringe, when I first saw it I thought "no! He can't be doing that!" It affected me far more than any of the killings.

I think that's an unique case of an "official" sequel - with all the main actors - that totally re-wrote the basic premises of the original.

In an interview, at the time, Christophe Lambert said, laughing, "I don't think that the people who watch such movies care about that, they want to see the action" - or something like that. Yeah Chris, fans are idiots.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes II is a far better sequel.

Hey Highlander, we had a Frenchman playing a Scotsman, a Scotsman playing an Egyptian and an American playing a Russian, what was all that about? It was a good film though. The second one was absolute pants.

Haha what about that film Brittney Speirs did, crossroads I think it was. An ex dragged me a long to see that. Jesus, the things I'll put myself through in the off chance i'll get sex!

I've been watching kids' movies more than anything else as of late, and I really disliked The Bee Movie. It was the worst kids' movie I've seen for a while, anyway.

    How about the classics:

Reanimator (and, yes, there were sequels)
Attack of killer tomatoes (that one does not really count, as it was intentionally bad)

    and

Plan 9 from Outer Space (you gotta love Ed Wood)

    (Plan 9 from Murray Hill is--only slightly--better)

Cicade de Deus: highly overrated boring piece of trash about some glue-sniffing losers, who are presented as somehow supposedly "cool".

Flesh: The one by Morrissey, ultraboring movie about a male prostitute. Basically it had nothing I want to see, and lot of stuff I don't want to see like a dude being naked. Plus the sound snaps everytime there's a cut in the movie. If you like a movie about trannies talking everyday stuff about their friends, who are not even shown in the movie, this is a movie for you.

Cheech & Chong's Next Movie: This is supposed to be a comedy. There was only one joke in the movie, that I though to be even remotely fun. When I told the joke to an ESFp and ENFj they thought that the joke sucked. So basically even the best joke in the movie sucks. Cheech is normally funnier than in this movie.
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

Did you make sure to hit the bong before watching? I'm pretty sure it's a prerequisite to watching those movies. I didn't like this one either, but I was later told that I should have been high to watch it. I guess you can think of it like a 3D movie without wearing the glasses...hahhahaha.

We'll have to see what BG thought of this movie as I'm pretty sure he's seen it, and 90% sure he saw it while high as hell. He probably won't be up for another 5 hours though, it's not even noon in AZ yet....lmao.

Yeah, that's likely to be the target audience of that movie.

lol... I know what you mean. That was a definate headslap moment. But then it does work in the context of the character, his utter befuddlement over why she'd get upset.

My favorite scene in that movie is when he accidentally kicks over his tv while watching it and just looks at it like "fuck."

There are far better Jet Li movies in my opinion (see Fearless for example), the fight scenes just couldn't overcome the overall perceived milieu of crappiness for me, and Super Troopers was superior to either Beerfest or Club Dredd (actually, add that last to my list of worsts). Ok, I will say that Beerfest was better than the Dredd, but looking back I guess most everything is.

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

That was the lowest point of the Bond movies imo, and essentially a remake of the previous one, The Spy Who Loved Me. Which was okay, but they re-made it as Moonraker, only worse.

Many of the films mentioned fall into campy and so bad they're good. Other than Solaris' list I haven't seen anything juicy. Batman and Robin is fucking hysterical.

    My list:
Schindler's List (it's a kitschy piece of hollywood garbage -- an exploitation film of massive stupidity and arrogance)
Anything by Jean Luc Godard (Alphaville made me want to gouge my eyes and ears out with an icepick)
    Titanic (already mentioned)
    Dances with Wolves (racist bullshit)
    Avatar (racist new age bullshit)
Crash (not the erotic-thriller made by Cronenberg -- the preachy best picture winner made for morons starring Ludacris)
    Juno (anti-choice hipster bullshit)
    Star Wars: Episodes I-III (duh)
    The Passion of the Christ

I just hate this movie so much. Posting obnoxious movie poster for effect.

Taken 2- Really Taken 1 was bad too but this one was so much worse. It doesn't help that I hate Maggie Grace.

The Grudge- Tried watching this one 3 times. Couldn't get past the first 15 minutes.
