Enneagram: Distinguishing Counterphobic Sixes and Eights
Sometimes, it's hard to distinguish between them, especially preservational variants.
It's hard, because a low serotonin level may appear as a substitute from an high drive level (bad mood may lead to energy deployment). For example, a SEE-7 may appear less forceful than a LIE-6.
My dad is ESI-ESTJ. He makes me hesitate between Preservational 6 and Preservational 8. If E6, he'd be counterphobic. Most ESI's are Sixes, but as there are cases of E3, I think E8 is a possibility (but it'd be scarce, like SEI-2 or SEE-9 or such).
Any advices ?
No misinformed retards please.
