Congratulations, Allie! Nice color. Is that colored pencil? It's a little hard to tell from a distance, but it has that feel.

A few pics from my first wedding...

Apparently, the feedback that I've had most was that I need to make sure and not cut the feet off like I did in most of these. I'll chalk that up to a lesson learned due to looking through the pics and finding that I did this in very very many of them...lol. That's all I had time to edit thus far, out of about 800 that I took...

and a few pics from a show I went to on Saturday night, I'm this band's official photographer... mainly because I work with two of the guys in the band...lol.

It was by far their biggest show yet, mainly due to one of the other band's playing with them...

I like it, Ssmall.

A lot of the pictures remind me of where I live. Most of those people in your pictures look like they could live down the street from me. It's a nice window into another place, and is a good reminder that people are pretty much the same wherever you go. It's some generally just good photography, too.

I need to become braver and start taking more pictures of people that I see out and about.

I would say - yes, you can draw. It could use some polish and perhaps further education, but the ability is definitely there. But, what did you think? Did you decide that you can indeed draw?

Here are some fairly recent concoctions of mine. Some of you might have already seen them on facebook, but I figure I'd share them again anyway.

This one's a bit cliché, I guess, but I thought it would be fun to try my hand at it. This gorge is relatively near the area where I live, too.

It's a little different from the kinds of things I normally do, but I wanted to try some thing new. Someone told me it has an Alpha feel to it?

It's not really finished, but I lost the original and gave up on it. Only the head and the tree are from photos; the rest I made/painted.

This was an experiment in combining various media, including drawings, paint, photos, and computer generated elements.

My most recent (as of last night). The original photo (of a little boy I know) is next to it so you can see how these Photoshop creations originate. (This particular picture idea is not mine; it comes from a Photoshop tutorial I found.)

Yeah it came alright, there are some lumpy parts there that shouldn't be there, maybe I should start practicing more. Although I find drawing kinda boring, so it feels like working. But it was cool, when I got it finished.

My dog

That's just about the only piece of photography I have (don't look up charlie without the 2, it's disturbing). I also drew a picture of a Great Dane, but I'm too lazy to put it on the computer.

Thanks. He is quite potentially cuddly, and he just about likes everything. I trained him to like everything.
