Ok, that made me smile. That sounds like me when I was young, really. I think I'm the only one in my school who is oppossed to having snow days.
    MAYBE I'LL BREAK DOWN!!!

GASP! why on earth would you be oppossed to a snow day! Course where I grew up in California we never had them When I lived in Brooklyn we had at least 2 or 3 days where we couldnt go to work. We had so much fun! I wish in Califronia they had sunshine days. Like those days where its so nice out that they just cancel work and send everyone home That'll never happen

Do you have brothers and sisters? I used to hate getting sick for the same reason. Everybody would be out doing something and I would be stuck in bed with a fever or something. I think my desire to get back in the swing of things caused me to get well faster. I am hardly ever sick more than a day or two.
But as far as the few snowdays I have experienced, we called friends who lived nearby, made hot drinks and watched movies then went out and had snowball fights. We ate anything we could find, played cards, turned up the music and danced. It was a spontaneous good time

Oi, you guys, aren't we supposed to be threatening and fearsome? Or is this part of our plot against Beta? Like, party with them to distract them from their attempts at world domination? Or, if that fails, throwing theories at them until they forget that there's a real world outside they could dominate?

I got destracted by that little fox Rocky. Hey I got it! Lets throw snowballs at them Here... take some! If they try to back out in their cars I have these.. to pop their tires. and if thats not enough, I'll use this like a boomerang to knock em out then I'll stuff their unconcious Beta bodies in this and mail em back home.

We are not afraid of your ! Little do you know, we have replaced the wheels of your cars with . I'd like to see you make a getaway with that! And our snowballs are obviously far superior - due to their resemblance to black holes they are obviously more dense (and will leave a bigger bruise on Darklord ). Our boomerangs - ooooh you better watch out! Extraverted they are...

Yeah, that's us. Deltas breed like old people...which means that they don't breed at all.
Yeah . . . okay, but I know your idea of old! My 17 year old thinks, "Eew, yuck . . . mom has sex??!!" You bet!

That is why Delta will prevail: The Betas are too focused on their reproductive schemes (Which is just a nice way of saying "obsession with fornication").

We decant our young. On bottles. And then condition them to be t3h ub3r l33t skillz0rz.

You know, Darklord, I liked you better when you were nice and quiet. You really are living this space alien thing, aren't you?

    God, I hate science fiction. I know, I know . . . for you it's real!

Funny you should mention that but I dont think Beta likes science fiction much at all. This is something Ive noticed with many Betas. Ofcourse now Ishy or somebody will jump up and declare that statement as hogwash but Im putting it out there anyway!

    Those pesky deltas never learn,

Sci-Fi is okay as a last resort. Fantasy is so much more fun imo. I do, however, dislike any non-fiction books. They drive me up the wall. I remember being forced to read them as a kid during "reading hour" after every lunch in grade school. I hattttttttted that time so bad. Other than wanting to talk (haha), I liked reference material better--especially the type based on life sciences, etc. I think, after much-o battling with my 5/6th grade teacher, I ended up only enjoying the A Wrinkle In Time series for non-fiction. Then again this was the same teacher that could not answer why cussing words were special so I won the war imo! But Sci-Fi... yeah. I mean Ive watched plenty, but if it is TV hour and it is a choice between SG-1 or Will & Grace then Will & Grace wins No amount of lasers is going to replace Grace's fake boobies squirting water all over an art gallery. Those babies were lethal. The sci-Fi lasers are just crayon streaks imo!

OOOOOK that pretty much sums up what I was thinking about Beta. Actually today you can hardly find any pure science fiction. It usually has a good mixture of fantasy. I mean, could you call the Matrix science fiction or fantasy. Its both. Same would be for Star Wars. Even the Minority Report had fantasy elements. I actually enjoy Fantasy/sci-fi and super hero movies a great deal. But I also like drama and more thoughtful films. I would not usually watch them with a bunch of people. Some movies should be watched alone or with only a very select few.

Fantasy - either too escapist, makes me bored with my own life. Or too implausible, and I end up raging against the stupidity of authors and screenwriters. Like I read this one book where they're all in a house, and it's freezing cold outside, and suddenly this old man stands in the open doorway delivering a prophecy. He just jammers on and on, keeping the door open... and no one complains. If it were made clear that "that's how shocked and awed they were" - then fine. No problem. But that wasn't the case. See what I mean? Implausible!

Or that old yarn of an average teenage guy who's given a famous sword and, hey presto, he defeats everyone else. GROAN. It's even worse in the movies. Those petite girlies lifting up HUUUGE broadswords IN ONE HAND as if the blasted thing weighed no more than a bloody knitting needle. ARGH.

Errrm... I suppose I've made my point... as for SF, it's usually too much like video games. But I love Red Dwarf. Anyone knows that? It's a BBC series. I think Cat's an ESTP. ("Oh no, I'm bleeding!" - "You'll be fine." - "Red blood on an apricot suit? I'm bleeding a tasteless colour!")

Science fiction pretty much sums up my ideal life: Very far out, very large spaces, strange places to go, incredibly weird and alien creatures that communicate intelligently, giant spaceships with implausible armament, superheroes in spacesuits... Does it get any better?

Oh, yeah, and I've pretty much completely exhausted all good fantasy around .
