The basic flaw in your way of testing isn't your algorithm, but rather the rate of accuracy of cognitiveprocesses. There are some people in the forum whose type is not under discussion, nor it has ever been, yet that website you took as frame of reference doesn't seem to offer high chances of success in terms of predicting the right type of those "undisputable" members.

No...it was more my take on it; for example your type is pretty indisputable, no?

her type is not at all indisputable.

if you want members that are pretty indisputable, look to people like expat.

Depending on your criteria, there could be billions of people like Expat or nobody at all. Perhaps you should be more specific.
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

yeah. the problem is that this kind of thing is enormously subjective. i don't know that there ever could be anyone whose type was universally undisputed.

expat i think is the best example of the person on this board who everybody agrees is some particular type. a few people have challenged it, but either not seriously or not successfully at all.

if you ask me, there are a number of people on this board whose types are absolutely indisputable; i could give you a list of those people if you cared (though they're all here, although of those listed as of being the same certainty, some are still more certain than others) but its always possible that my indisputable LII might be somebody else's obvious SEE, especially if you add to the picture the idiots that have been marauding this board who type people out of their asses.

Your algorithm says with very high certainty that I am TeSi. How can this be?

niffweed if i were SLE, don't you think we'd like each other better? seriously. you'd be my semi dual then. if i think you're an intp, that is.

Not certain how to respond. If not IEI what then? I mean, even from the suggestions I've heard as alternatives nothing comes close to LSE. LSE is like a total wild shot. Not to mention that I'm pretty reasonably (currently) convinced of my type. And the only viable alternative that I could see is EIE.

no; not really. the difference between semi-dual and contrary is not very significant or measurable. especially in the case of you and me; where i tend to think that you're probably a strong Ti subtype and i'm probably an equally strong Te subtype.

Hard to say, I've never met you.

Why do you think you answer as you do? I mean, even if the test questions aren't entirely accurate in terms of their Socionics equivalents, they're not so far off that none of your valued functions are in your top five results.

I am about to do a number of things which I do not believe to be useful. These things include, but are not limited to, testing, using MBTT functions instead of information elements, determining club before quadra, and using terms such as "Je" and "Pi". Consider yourself warned.

    [hr:14b1aae8b1]
    Add the following scores:
    • Group A [list:14b1aae8b1]Se + Si =
      Ne + Ni =

    Group B
    • Te + Ti =
      Fe + Fi =
    [/list:u:14b1aae8b1]
You now know your club. To determine which quadra you're in, add the following from your high score pair in each group:
    • Je + Pi =
      Pe + Ji =

The higher of the two represents your ego block. To determine your type, look at the information elements in your super ego block. If the higher of the two is extroverted, you're the extrovert in your mirror pair. If the higher of the two is introverted, you're the introvert in your mirror pair.

    [hr:14b1aae8b1]
Obviously it needs some work, especially in determining which in your mirror pair you are. Personally, I think looking at temperaments in mirror pairs is generally a good way to do it.

If anyone wants me to figure their type based on this, let me know. I'll need your scores, of course. And I can't promise I'll feel like doing it more than a few times. (Several examples should be enough anyways.)
