sorry... I'm a smartass today (but was being honest about your sister, she does look like a fun girl (meant in the totally innocent sense))

I'll spare you my horrible typing skills in favor of somebody who may actually know what they're talking about

I think what i meant was that when I do type, it's done on vague impressions that come to me, like "the wrinkles on his face look like he has *this* expression most of the time" and stuff like that. I don't do analysis or generally even read the analysis of others... at least not functional psychobabel ones. Instead with descriptions people give I look for traits that are shared by people I know/have known in real life and go with the type I've already guessed for them. So anyways, I don't type people because I don't want to argue or defend my typings when people ask "WTF?", there is no logic to it (or at least the type of logic people seem to want here) ehhh... fucking PoLR

    Anyways... lol...

the only impression is of sister... IEI

Sister looks ESTp (or maybe some Fe type). Mother: I would say ENTj. Definitely rational.

    Father: IXTx

    Sister: maybe Se?

    Mother: T

    lol thanks for the thoughts

My mum is definitely a rational type? Wow... strange... possible... but I don't think she is intuitive type. My guess was ISFj (but I noticed in an old thread someone said that most people's mothers seem to be ESFj or ISFj, and that it could just be the mother 'role' that was being typed). Seems quite gamma to me

IxTx is all I know for my dad as well. Possibly INTp or ISTp. Strongly doubt he is an ISTj

My sister, is a hard one for me. We were very close when we were young, then we pretty much didn't get on at all, we were like complete opposites (she is as BG says, "fun", seemingly irresponsible, goes out a lot, makes my mum worry). But now I see some similarities between us and I'm much more accepting of her. She tested once as ENFP on some MBTI, but I think her Se and Si are strong (enjoys and is good at visual art, but not good at explaining or talking about her work). Probably beta or gamma quadra... could be ESFp, ESTp... IEI is a possibility

Yes, I should say the way you described your mother before (excessively tidy, etc.) does sound ISFj.

hmm I'm not sure I can answer that because I don't know anyones types for sure in real life.... even if I did, the only people I see her regularly interact with are the rest of my family, and even if I knew their types for certain, I probably wouldn't be able to separate the typical family relations, e.g. mother-daughter, from the type relations

but I can describe her a bit more so you can decide whether the ISFj typing is consistent:
she works as a team leader/supervisor; she is good at dealing with conflicts between other people; she's good at dealing with emotional coworkers and calming people down; others see her as a good boss; she looks down at lazy people; her job tires her out and she wishes she didn't have to be responsible for others; is a very hard worker; self-assertive to the point of embarassment (e.g. if she believes she has been served badly, she will let people know, will get angry at customer service reps even if they weren't directly at fault, doesn't try very hard to hide her dissatisfaction); loves giving advice to others (from my experience, her advice is usually good); likes to take others under her wing; quite judgemental; can hold grudges; likes to gossip [annoys me]; drawn to symbols of wealth/status/prestige [annoys me]; very concerned about personal finances (and good at managing them), quite frugal; pragmatic; has a need to accumulate wealth and compete with others [annoys me]; can be a bit of a show off; good at keeping records; can be quite materialistic; very concerned with personal appearance and presentation [annoys me]; obsessed with tidiness; enjoys soap operas, crappy current affairs shows, and emotional, straightforward movies; tears up quite easily; a bit of a control freak

    ESTp

    ENTj

    ISTj

I agree ESTp is a strong possibility for your mum but there is a lot of ISFj there too based on what you write.

No idea what your sister is but based on VI ENTj is a decent guess.

Your father does look ISTj or possibly ESTj even.

I was reading over this old thread of mine, and given my most recent conclusions, I just wanted to say that imfd95's initial guesses were shockingly accurate.

Only thing is my dad is probably ILI-Te rather than SLI-Te (negativist rather than positivist, doesn't seem to care for Si). Sister is probably Sensory subtype, but still SEE. But pretty damn good otherwise.
