When you for whatever reason focus on your PoLR (we all have to do this sometimes), do you tend to be paranoid about matters related to it?

yes. it comes from feeling totally unskilled and unable to develop skill in the information area of the polr.
frinstance, at one time i was working in a total Fi oriented residential program....it was constant relational ethics all day everyday. i really could not cope well. and you couldn't really hide out all that well there either, so it was like banging my head against the wall every day for 3 1/2 years. i'd say it was growth because it helped me become aware of just how lame i really am in this area, but you get to a point of diminishing returns. so i left that job and took one which used my NeTi well, one where i could be a democratic, non-micromanaging director with less constant interpersonal friction all day long.
being in a polr situation can be helpful....but it's important to get out of them once you have made a full understanding of your strengths and limitations.
paranoia? i say no. it is you but it's also the situation.

I don't have a PoLR.... I traded it to a gypsy for half a role.
That gypsy got gypped.
