ok, how often do you use any kind of time planner? when you go to bed, do you usually know what are you going to tomorrow?

    that's interesting
ok, imagine you made some plans for tomorrow, you need to do that and that and this, how would you feel about his plan? would it help you to go through the day? or, when you wake up tomorrow, you may not feel like doing all that anyway?

no, you don't try to help me! it doesn't have to be marine biology, its something really annoying and you REALLY don't want to do it. or may be its some boring girl who asks you to go to the movie with her and you really don't feel like going. and you don't want to offend her. you may lie if you want. what would you tell??

well, that was not an entp answer, coz i don't know any entp who would tell a girl that he is into someone else like this but it was more intuitive than sensing... what do you think of being Huxley?

That's not all that useful a test. The foreknowledge it depends upon should be sufficient for one to calculate one's own type through the dichotomies anyway, it just saves a little work. And IME, the Reinin dichotomies aren't necessarily very accurate. Not sure if you were around to know niffweed, dee, but he scored as 100% ENFp from them. Which is kind of a joke.

Anyway, I really think we can rule out the more "decisive" types for you.

That is no different than taking an MBTI test and choosing between

    T or F
    I or E
    N or S
    J or P

    Seems like a poor test.

And I am 60-70% confident in my choices, which I am 70% sure IS statistically significant.
The point is, what is the opposite side? Where is the midpoint?

Is 50% right down the middle? If that is so, then 60% is just 10 away from being directly in the middle. Does that make sense? That does not really look like a good test.

It is basically just asking you to select the dichotomies, and calculates your answers for you. It tells you nothing at all.

You need to stop worrying about what type a test or result says you are and start investing more into learning socionics.

Actually UDP, could you do me a favour and show me the differences between EP and IJ? Although I´ve settled on ESTp, someone said I should look into ISTj, and I´m not sure I fully understand the difference between the two temperaments.

Right, I´ve had a bit of a break from this thread so dee, can you save me having to read through the last 5 pages and tell me what types you´re currently considering.

Also, for future reference, at the risk of sounding hypocritical: don´t type by dichotomies. I reckon I´m J. Why? Because I´m typing by dichotomies. I´m making a mistake. I am ENTJ on MBTI and ESTp on socionics. E and T are evident to me. But I´m only p in socionics because I´m not typing by dichotomies. And why am I N in MBTI terms? Because I like philosophy, abstract ideas and theoretical and intellectual thinking. Ss in MBTI can´t, by definition, like this. That just shows one of the flaws of MBTI theory.

    Yeah, because she's fuggin hot

I still think you could be ILE. Maybe. EP with Ti, at least.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Have lots of ideas, but still have to consolidate them somewhat and test. Will post the results and maybe ask for involvement/propose for discussion later. As for the "J", I just said that because the "P" on socionics.com turbo test is more me than "J". Guess not a smart move. But yes, I agree that MBTI is not very reliable as say 6th function Ti for INFp even makes some think they are borderline thinking or whatever.
But you haven´t done what I asked.

What types are you considering at the mo?

but i've been using those titles for so long, that i stopped associating them with the actual characters
one of my friends has brother named Max, so when she talks about him, she first has to warn us that she is talking about the brother not LSI, coz otherwise everyone gets confused

What I don´t understand is how the fuck you can even consider ESTp and INFp. INFp would be the last type I ever considered.

Come on dee, start narrowing down. Get some idea of how you are. Stop considering all these different possibilities and ways to find your type. If I was to type you right now, I´d say you were 6w7 so/sx ENTj.

Don´t even attempt to break my record.
