By comparison seems simple enough .... it has a stimulus - > response type foundation which can be observed and to some extent imitated by those who don't have this function in their ego.... generally has a distinct aim which can more often than not be identified. It can be based on genuine or it need not be.
I will start by describing what is not ie. when it is PoLR.
Here are direct observations from a time when i did not know any better.
There appears to be component of severe interpersonal myopia or egocentricity associated with it that not even logic can support. There is no attempt to expand conciousness to encompass your collucutor as an equal with needs differing but no less important than yours. Only ideas/logic matter, the more the better, each is to be assessed on the quality of intellect and expected to focus almost solely on ideas excluding "irrelevant" issues of maintaining relationships which under most conditions are assumed to be good or a "given".
Now this is not to say that there is no caring or feeling at all because as most of you will know when things get really bad there is no better friend that will stand beside you through thick and thin than an ENTP or ESTP. Its just that under normal circumstances ENTP types will not invest on building/nurturing relationships to the degree that is expected by others.
OK ..... now for my question, esp. for those with in their ego block.
[1] Do you consider fundamental to a civil society (ie is it the "glue") or is it simply preferrable in a civil society?
[2] How is the information primarily gathered? intuitively?, keen observation of signals ? or through observation of the acts of others?
[3] How is manifest without ? is it simply taking time to say "thank you very much", an act of kindness? or is it an end in itself ie. it is enough most times to feel appreciative/appreciated or connected to others?
[4] Do the standards tend toward the universal or are they personal benchmarks? For instance can we expect that in most cases 2 INFJ's will get along better than 2 ENTPs?.
[5] What attitude/diposition/mindset is required to better differentiate type information like "who is your friend/enemy"? A problem that ExTPs in particular are reputed to have?
