    My possible enneagram types: 3, 4, 6, 7
My possible Sociotypes: IEI, EIE, ILE, IEE

What would be the best cross-section of these?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

well according to your poem, you can cross off 6 and ILE. So that'll narrow it down for ya.

I generally agree with the Eight observations.

The one thing I kind of maybe almost have a problem with (starting to sound like niffweed ) are Three and LSE, which I think match relatively well. Arnold Schwarzenegger is an LSE, and he is probably a Three (and is often cited as one). One and Six I see as better fits than the other types, although I can tolerate all but Four (yes, even Two I can flow with).

I think Seven is perfectly possible for Gilly. What is less possible is an ESI 7w6.

You're not a Four. If you were, IEI would make most sense. Leon is an EIE, and we decided on Four, although Three is possible.

    Essentially:

    • Three EIE > ILE/IEE > IEI
    • Four IEI > EIE > ILE/IEE
    • Six Equally compatible with all; depends on the kind of Six we're talking about
    • Seven ILE/IEE > EIE > IEI

Assuming you haven't changed your opinion over night, we can rule out half of this spectrum, leaving ILE, 3, 6 and 7.

I agree, mainly for reasons pertaining to the various triads, which I don't feel are necessary to bring up right now.

I think it can seem possible, especially based on some of the general descriptions, but when you look into the various triads, it just doesn't work for me.

    And lol @ ESI 7

Well he may be often cited as a 3, but apart from his track record of being successful in many things, I don't see much of a clear case that he does have 3 motivations.

Could be. To be honest, I had never even thought about his enneatype.

eh, i don't know about this.
i think the enneagram is a pretty wishy-washy system, but I will say that I don't identify with 9 at all and I identify with 6 pretty well.

    eh, that might work.

some are more generalized and more well-thought out than others. i do think that 9 is probably the best overall fit with EII (and i hate the idea of EII 4, which some people have suggested). however, a 6 EII is not something that i'd considered really at all.

in this sense, your feedback is quite valuable in at the least bringing up the possibility and making me think about it.

I like your list and I agree with most of it. Except for maybe I'd put E2 higher in the list of the EIE and E4 one or two rows up on the SLI list.

Anyways, I am curious whether you could derive my socionics or enneagram type from your table and this graph.

Perhaps you can elaborate why you'd see EII and type 4 as incompatible? I knew a 4w3 sx/so individual who was INFJ (MBT). Not sure whether he'd be EII as well, but it certainly wasn't out of the realm of possibility IME.

Why is it impossible for a Six to be an LSE, but impossible for a Six to be SLI?

SLI's can't be Sixes either. Such people who appear as Sixes are often Fours or Eights.

ESI, IEI, and EII would all probably make very poor twos.

    3

    3: EIE
2: IEI, ESE, ILE, SLE, LIE

LIEs would make atrocious 3s. i think an SEE would be a much better 3 than LIE, and maybe also LSI.

SEI, LII, and ILI are all horrible 4s.

    i can't see an LSI as a good 5.

    1: SLE, LSE
all of SEI, SEE, ESE are probably poor sixes. i think i'd take LSE over any of them.

why is SLI or ESE a good 8? also LIE is at least as good as LSE, and ESI is at least as good as LSI.

Can't you come up with an objective opinion? Also, what you need to know seems very general. If you (are willing to) ask me a more concrete question, I might be able to answer.

I'm not sure you really understand the Four. Or the Eight.

Here's a table I made. Probably does differ from the one I made last time I made one:

Why the hell do so many people think incorrectly that LSEs are not prototypical 8s? Just because they don't value Se? And since when are LSEs often 6s? No sense at all there, IMO.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

LSEs want to control everything around them?

Umm...not necessarily any more or less than an SLE or LSI, and probably moreso than any LIE or ESI, IME. I really don't see ESI as a good candidate for 8, tbh.
