Possible solutions:
1) Ironically thank global warming, then go back in time 100 years and somehow impose CO2 emission regulations.
2) If you're made of money and do not care about the environmental consequences, purchase a compact air conditioning unit (this assumes that you do not own one because you live in Germany).
3) (recommended) Build your own evaporative cooler. All you need is a portable fan, a shallow container, and water.

Maybe something simpler I'm not an engineer, and I can't change global warming except minimizing emissions. Which certainly won't happen when I build this stuff, and the heat gets worse as we all engage in that, that's the real irony.
I'm STILL STUCK IN THIS HELL.

Or wait maybe @Director Abbie has an idea, she always has these pragmatic hacks.
Get an aircon...
Drink a lot of water.
Cool the neck or wrist area, as the blood circulates and cools down your entire body. Wrap a wet towel around your neck or wrist, better if you use ice.
It also works on these points:

That towel thing is pretty effective I feel less heat hehe
Eat little, drink a lot of water, stay wherever there´s air conditioning during the day...

@Chae get some peppermint oil at EDEKA and put some on your skin. tiny amounts and even somehow diluted, otherwise it hurts like a freezing bish for a couple of minutes or so
you are too quick. i added some more stuff in the post. not on the face really. start with small quantities. get some drops on your hand and apply e.g. to spots that are indicated in Singularity's post. i kinda went crazy with it last summer when i first discovered the power of the peppermint oil. glad i did not get any reaction (????). when i visited a friend though his roomates thought that someone had VICKS on and i had to turn my self in
get a cloth and run it under cold water. use it to cool your hands, face, and armpits (asscrack too if you want).
or do the above without a cloth and just hands and water.
remember to wash your hands with soap after if you did the above to your asscrack. (i know you IEEs)
open the fridge/freezer and lean into it until you feel cooler.
if you like cold tea, put a teabag into your water bottle (cool water). i find this refreshing personally and it helps my body hydrate from the water better for some reason even though caffeine is a diuretic.
Stop being poor and buy an air conditioner.

I don't do well in the heat, I'm much more of an autumn and winter person....
This May has been colder than average but I still feel too hot. Highs have been in the mid 70s and lows in the 50s (which is a little low for the end of may, last year end of may highs were in the 80s) and I still feel very sticky/uncomfortable. Once the 90+ days start to come, of which there are about 12-15 in a year - I'm gonna be absolutely miserable. It's like I already feel like I have to shower three-four times a day to not totally stink blah. And well there is a cliche in weather that humid heat = much worse than dry heat, and yeah I live in a humid heat climate so there u go. But it's just about withstanding the torture cuz once mid-october hits it will feel like a huge orgasmic relief again. (I say that and just my luck we will have a weird mid october heatwave. /cry) god I hope not lol.
(btw I'm a huge weather geek and I love discussing it. A nice little break of me ranting about homosexuality and women all the time. But don't get too happy those will always be my top two favorites. )
When I lived in a humid climate it was hell. I took a LOT of ice cold showers. I lived in an antique farmhouse with no A/C and fans didn't do shit shit but blow the already hot air onto you. I moved to a dry climate in Arizona. Everyone here bitches about the heat here but the lack of humidity tricks me into thinking it's not anywhere near as hot as the humid summers up north. I have A/C and that's really all there is to it. And swimming.

During the hot times, you should look at the forecast over the next week or two, and plan your inactivities accordingly.
