I've noticed that people online type me Fe subtype while those from the forum who've met me in person type me Ni subtype.

Aspects of both fit tbh. I'm still rather undecided on my subtype in the same way I'm unable to come to conclusion about my enneagram wing (though I think it's pretty obvious that I'm a 3 wing).

Fwiw you gave off a lighter vibe in the 5 min of voice-chat I actually heard lol. More playful, kind of pushy (but in a diplomatic, clearly fun-loving way). Would fit Fe sub a little closer than Ni.

It's this constant need for always having to be "right" and this often means jumping through hoops and finding useless loopholes in order to prove their rightness, even if it's become a lost cause. Your Hidden Agenda is often a cringy area for other people to witness, especially when it's over focused on. For Ti HA there comes this deep inner shame or inability to admit being wrong in in such areas, so some just outright refuse to admit that they were not on the right track, while others will apologize for being "stupid" when that is usually not the case.

Everyone has their own insecurities. HA is especially prone for defense mechanisms, because people are most likely to feel the need to associate their pride with it (even though they suck balls at the function compared to like 50% of the population).

you're saying this like I don't get it, but I do get it--I just don't like it; its a really ugly quality that most IEIs suffer from made worse from their general pretension as moral seers and guides. they can't even see their own basic flaws but they make it their business to peddle narratives in order to mind control people

now I know this is just going to turn the focus on me, and it is true I have my own flaws; so we can discuss them if that's what people feel I deserve since I was so quick to comment on others but it doesn't change the fact IEIs are a big joke

IEI thinking, in comparison, is fuzzier, is done in leaps, and isn't something I would even call coherent by nature. At least, not coherent in an academic sense. There is a stark difference between that and what I see in you.

His post pretty much showed why almost all "spiritual" people who discover Socionics end up typing themselves as IEI, no matter what their "real" type is. And no, just being "spiritual" does not automatically make you an IEI, just like being an atheist does not automatically make you a Logical type. But sure, there can be correlations.

I was joking of course. It could be interpreted in the way you mention, which is a good point. However, another way to interpret it is that IEI is not this super rare type that very few people can type as. It's more common than people think especially on the internet, which is why I think the majority of IEI self-typings in this forum are correct. Sure, there are a minority of IEI self-typings that are wrong, but that can apply to basically any type. IEIs in this forum specifically tend to get retyped way too often. I'm not talking about your retypings of self-typed IEIs specifically btw , but rather in general because I've seen even other posters doubt that you are IEI as well or other posters doubt other people's typings of IEI.

I didn't notice if you made the new list since I didn't bother reading it. I know what is on it. He has never actually seen my irises but he imagines they are identical to those of some psycho killer named Jodi Arias which he has posted about a couple of times. Because it is obvious that a psycho like her can only be EII in his system.

He can't tell the difference between Fe and social instinct. He has no idea what Ni is at all so he wouldn't recognize it if his life depended on it. He considers himself a badass SLE with mad typing skills that has the ability to type random people on the internet that he has never had a conversation with. He is very similar to Sol. Maybe sol will return to us too soon and they can have a type off. <3

Divination of all sorts of things based on iris patterns goes back to ancient Egypt, to Chaldea in Babylonia, and to ancient Greece, as documented in stone inscriptions, painted ceramic artefacts, and the writings of Hippocrates. There will always be a market for hocus-pocus, and "clinical" divination based on iris patterns persists today.
There is a popular belief in systematic changes in the iris patterns, reflecting the state of health of each of the organs in the body, one's mood or personality, and revealing one's future. Practitioners skilled in the art of interpreting these aspects of iris patterns for diagnosing clients' health, personality, and mutual compatibilities, are called iridologists. Like palm-readers and fortune-tellers, iridologists will offer advice on all of these matters by inspecting your iris. If you are interested in this sort of thing, a chart showing how each individual organ of the body is somehow "connected" to a specific spot on each iris for diagnosis is shown here. How personality is determined is revealed here, and a more elaborate theory of interpersonal compatibility based on iris patterns is detailed here.


Some limited types of changes in iris appearance can occur and do have a scientific basis: (1) In the first few months of life, a blanket of chromatophore cells in the anterior layer of the iris establishes eye colour; until this pigmentation develops, babies typically - even if only temporarily - have blue eyes. (2) Some pharmacological treatments for glaucoma involving prostoglandin analogues are reported to affect melanin, and therefore iris pigmentation, when applied topically to the eye. Such possible changes in iris colour are irrelevant for the method of iris recognition described here, as imaging is done with monochrome cameras and using infrared illumination in the 700nm - 900nm band; melanin is almost completely non-absorbant at these wavelengths. (3) Freckles can develop over time in the iris, as elsewhere on the body. Again these are spots of melanin pigmentation, invisible in the infrared illumination used for iris recognition, so they neither help nor hinder in the identification of the iris pattern. (4) Elderly persons' eyes sometimes show a thin white ring surrounding the iris. This is an optical opacity that develops with age in the base of the cornea, where it joins the sclera.


As for the occult belief that iris patterns reveal the state of one's organs and so may change systematically over time, there have been five reviews published in medical journals reporting various scientific tests of iridology (Berggren, 1985; Cockburn, 1981; Worrall, 1984, 1985; Knipschild, 1988; Simon, Worthen, and Mitas, 1979), and they all dismiss iridology as a medical fraud. In particular, the review by Berggren (1985) concludes: "Good care of patients is inconsistent with deceptive methods, and iridology should be regarded as a medical fraud."
