The good: It's good and useful to have a database with some stereotypical types!! But it should have as little errors as possible. since having an error here, will make more errors when typing other people.

The bad: There are a couple of pretty clear errors, or ones that are against the general consensus, they should not be put in this list.
So yeah it's good to have Schwarzenegger as an ESTJ cause the majority of the people agree on this, but there has just been a thread on hillary clinton, which majority has her as ISTJ, but you put her on INTP.
That stuff should get erased out of the list. It only adds confusion.

Then if I look at my personal opinions or consensusses, I seriously doubt the following in your list are correct...do with it whatever you like:
Brad Pitt, usually typed as ENTj / LIE, not ISFp
Lady Gaga, i think general consensus is ESFp, not ENTp.
Jennifer Aniston, ISFp rather than ENTp.
****** is not an INTj, are you actually aware of consensusses?? He's EIE / ENFj
Gordon Ramsay is ENFj IMO not ESTp.
Oprah EIE, not ENFp
Charlie Sheen ESxp not ISTp.

Uhoh. Thank you so much, your responses to my list were really super eye-opening. I'm not coming from mbti, and I really just didn't do my homework. Totally see so many of your mentions now. Clintons. Pitts. Freddie Mercury. Whew. Love learning this. Thank you so much. I will stand by my controversial Colbert typing of ENTp for now and some here and there but I'll keep eyes open. I can see the istpishness. Brit spears might be istp herself with esfpishness. I think parental influence and enneagram make it harder to type and some ppl require more study. For example Se can seem similar to sx or 8 in enneagram and vice versa, i think. It's helped to watch who people gravitate to, but other criteria should help me too as time goes on. Thanks again!

I have my own type list spreadsheet somewhere that I've been added to and taking away from for a number of years, which on the whole, I've kept private. It has involved collating my own typings as they come to me, as well as the seemingly consensus opinions and whether I can agree with them or not (I may necessarily have my own view in many instances). Doing such a project meant I did develop a certain taste of the various flavours of the types, i.e. seeing consistencies, which perhaps made me speculate about possible inconsistencies apparent in some typings as well as gave me a certain lightbulb moment over the types of some individuals I had not previously developed an opinion on.

I think the way to go is to have a distinction between typings you are reasonably confident in, and those you essentially have a type penciled in who you are interested in typing. In addition, having an extensive typelist of 16 variables is not likely to stand up to much scrutiny say over a two year period: you will probably find that if you did a project of 200 or so names every two years, you would have made a significant number of changes if you were to reappraise each typing. (Thinking in more general terms for individuals you are less certain of may be helpful). I would not feel comfortable with making my own typelist public bearing just these points in mind. A shorter form or benchmark, perhaps.

The list would include the authors Fyodor Dostoyevsky, George Eliot, J.K. Rowling, and Virginia Woolf (I am least certain about George Eliot), Van Gogh (although I am open to alternatives), the former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, and various actors and politicians that I am either more doubtful about, or I have accepted the typing from someone else. For historical figures, I agree with the typing of Tsar Nicholas II that way, and also Marcus Aurelius and George VI...the last two are probably @Expat-derived typings (he certainly considered them both EII in any case, although he may not do so now).

It has been suggested (either by others or by me: in many cases, I don't recall the exact nature of my own thoughts) Brett Anderson, Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosamund Pike, Sissy Spacek, and Tilda Swinton could be EIIs, all of which seem worthy of mention to me. It doesn't fall on to me to decide (it might be good to bring this up here, could only be a symptom of unhealthiness, it might derail the thread but oh well); since I don't know what prepared the fertile ground, I'll dive into what I think is it's fruit; socionics has somewhat reordered my world. The bottom line here is that I care about EII authors only to supplement my RIGHT so to speak, in believing in an image of me as a fledgling writer. FMD, VW, GE represent an inordinately low number of famous and eminent writers for me to concieve of my type as a type of writers. Three are exceptions, easily contained; x is a legacy, a destiny. It's harded to assume kinship with exceptions, but it's not really that. Um, it might simply be the nature of the narrative which such low numbers create.
I feel an incongruency so to speak. It feels as if with my actions I'm opposing a reality which has descended upon me. The belief is not there. I could create a reality where this doesn't matter, but it is much weaker and without the same type of predetermined feel. The reality is more like a narrative, like a path. It's how I apply meaning. The source for it must be external. The internal is of the wrong material. Something along these lines at least.
