Default Tell me what you want me to wear, and I'll buy it.

Maybe. I am not going to spend more than about $500 in total, so don't get too carried away with my money.

I need to update my wardrobe for the summer and to be blunt, I just have no idea about fashion.

Therefore, I was wondering if the women here would mind helping me out. I have posted a few pictures around the forum which should give you an idea of my build, face shape and hairstyle. If you have any questions about the image I'm trying to project to people, sizes, aesthetic preferences and so on then please feel free to ask me. I need at least three casual to semi casual short sleeved shirts, two pairs of pants (not jeans) and a pair of leather shoes.

So yes, you all get to dress me, haha. Feel free to engage your imagination

Hues are more important than the items themselves so try seasonal color analysis first! With determining the undertone (cool-warm).

And THEN maybe some body shape work.

I don't like wearing hats, really, because I have quite long hair.

Do you have any serious ideas about the stuff I mentioned above? Shirts and pants? Shoes?

Come on @Starfall. I know you want to see me in a fedora. So to compensate for the inevitable ridicule and loss of pride I will receive (your motivation for suggesting this in the first place), I must insist that you undergo a similarly humiliating, degrading experience.

So here is my price: you will make a customized erotic audio for me based on my instructions. As a gesture of goodwill, I will buy and wear the fedora first. I will even dress up like an actual neckbeard for you. But after that, you will have a week to compose and edit the clip, an excerpt of which I will post as evidence that you've kept to your part of the deal. Otherwise we will all know that you are a flake.

This thread has one purpose: to discuss clothes I could wear for the 2018 summer season. Passive-aggressive swipes are pathetic, mean-spirited and not welcome here.

I strongly advise people not to test my patience on this matter unless they want to get hurt.

That sounds like a great idea. As you can guess from my name, I love the Silmarillion.

In fact if you guys would like, I can actually do that next week...lots of visions about the perfect scene. I'll show you some pictures.

    Default Dress suggestion

Hey, i think you should wear something different like Asian dresses. You can check something from asimjofa.com and sanaiya maskatiya's collection. Luxury chiffon dresses of designer you may also like for the party or gathering. Asian dresses will suit your face cuts.

I can sort of sympathize with Cuivienen's wish to have someone else pick out his clothes. EIE's and LIE's are kind of like half of the same person, according to the function stack. Personally, I suck at choosing clothes for myself, and I normally just let a salesperson do that for me.

Although, one time with an LSI GF, she picked out an outfit for me which kind of transformed how women reacted to me. It was like they noticed me and really liked the way I was dressed, which is something I'm not used to. At all.

My only problem with that was that most of the women who were reacting (favorably) were other LSI's, and I was looking for ESI's.

Cuivenen, the moral of the story is obvious.

I've seen SLI guys get a makeover by their gf's. Lots of this stuff, same as cooking, is often a female thing before a type thing - BTW if anyone gets worked up about possible sexism, i'm not saying it's right or wrong, just that this is how it usually works.

Lol, Chryssie. I'd wear it, too.

Let me say, only a real man could pull that off.

It's cheap thing more for fun or Halloween alike. Costs ~ $10. The delivery may be up to $50 (needs to ask the shop). Most probably they are produced in China, so Chinese shops may to have them and deliver cheaper (aliexpress did not found).

I think a really long scarf would suit you.

Not dragging-on-the-floor long, but wrap-around-twice-and-maybe-still-sit-on-it long.
Maybe burgundy? It's been a while since I saw your face.

It can differ quite a lot between beta ST and gamma SF. Beta ST like a more war-like appearance. Gamma SF are more "preppy".

I've always looked forward to a guy dressing me. Not like in a controlling way but in a 'high standards' aesthetic, notices complementary aspects of clothing way that takes me a while to have to focus and sort out. And I'm with an ESI now. He bought me running shoes that...there's no describing them. They're amazing. FUNCTIONAL And gorgeous on me. HOW is there an attractive running shoe? and yet... #skillz #madskillz

To me, this thread was an honest attempt to ask for some help choosing clothes. I am not naturally attuned to body sensations, and appreciate genuine suggestions of what might look good on me.

A couple of women I've met over the last few days (both of whom I think are LSIs) have praised me for my beard, long hair and rocker look. Though they didn't use these words, I have a theory that Betas in general find a wild, primal appearance attractive in the opposite sex. Gammas seem to be more interested in dressing up, though they are glitzy and have an "edge" unlike the more placid and refined Deltas. Alphas' fashion sense, by contrast, tends to be colourful and eclectic in a goofy kind of way.

there is a sense, actually, in our forum that stays up for people to read in any moment, that newbs come to for understanding socionics, for us to show this forum doesn't condone threatening people if we're keeping the post up. What is going on with this place?

Think about what kind of overall image you want to portray. What kind of "vibe".

Or on the other hand, you can start out with thinking about what kind of chick you want to attract, and what kind of image or "vibe" or kind of guy she is looking for.

    And then dress the part.

If you want to attract as many chicks as possible, you cannot go wrong with the classic "bad boy" style.
Though I doubt that this fits your personal tastes and personality much.

I cannot give you concrete advice, I lack the Sensing.
But simply look at celebrities who fit your personal style or vibe you have or want to emphasize or attain, and buy similar clothing.

Here's an overview of the kinds of clothing I like on a guy, but that's just me; I wouldn't tell you to dress like that, because it is probably out of your comfort zone. You strike me more as the kind of guy who is more "naturel" and down-to-earth. I am just giving you an example of what a girl like myself would be into.

haha, you seem kinda bohemian like him.

Seeing that youre a dark autumn, and bohemians - if you feel that you are since Olimpia mentioned it - are usually on the dramatic side. I'm going to write out my list for bohemian/bad boy archetype. Even though I have never really seen you, I think at the end of the day its a matter of collecting essentials. So when you do finally get dressed, every outfit can be considered stylish.

My usual system is .. my jacket my shoes and my purse all go together. So it doesnt matter what I wear for the rest of the outfit, it will be all put together by the jacket shoes and purse. It's simple, but gorgeous. Essentials, essentials... Hm.

Everyone should own a leather jacket, especially dark autumns. Dont go online shopping for one, find it yourself and try different ones on.
A fitted blazer - work appropiate.
Another one, probably velvet or corderoy if your artsy enough.
A wool coat, that ends midthigh.
One Jeans jacket, faded, washed out.
Button ups, muted striped tshirts, faded graphic tees.
    A leather wallet.

I have no idea if youre a hat person but rock it out if you are.
Ties... are well... ties. Get em if you want them.

Boots to match your leather jacket. Honestly boots are the only real shoes that matter to me lol, so I have nothing else to say. Your shoes, should match your belts. Or your scarf, if youre doing that. So have a black set of shoes/scarf/belt/beanie, and a brown set.

    As for summertime...

Muted colored shirts, faded jeans. Who care about the rest? Summertime isn't for fashion according to my studies, it's about glowing up. So just focus on skin care, fitness, trimmed nails and nice hair and shoes that makes someone want to trust you, and everything else will fall into place.

I have performed the necessary butchery. Here is the bleeding corpse.
