There is alot of stuff out there closely related to socionics so with the internet, your own intuition, and a boost from some similar fields(such as systems or informational theory and general psychology) you can piece it together yourself, which is quite rewarding and fun.

From my perspective though, We're pretty much on our own for all of this stuff.

As far as I know, Betty Lou Leaver, a famous American linguist, planned to publish Socionics For Everyone (by Catherine Filatova), at least, the book has been translated into English.
If there is any progress, I do not know.
You can visit the site of Betty Leaver:

I think Gulenko is by far the most interesting in theoretical Socionics. As an INTj he probably understood Jung better, and his understanding of the problem is much deeper.

From experimental Socionics, Talanov (INTp) is the most realistic. Unfortunately he has decided to throw in the towel and do some business.

Gulenko is a pure theoretician, and sometimes this his quality plays a bad trick with him: he speaks in a very categoric manner even when he means only hypotheses, and if none objects immediately, Gulenko manages to persuade HIMSELF his theories were true... and some days later, these hypotheses turn in his works into "obvious facts"< on the basis of which he builds new hypotheses, and so on.

In my opinion, although Filatova is not such a brilliant theoretician as Gulenko, her books are THE MOST ACCURATE among socionic books; when she tells something, she can always confirm it with facts, facts and more facts. When she presents, for example, type descriptions, these are not theoretical descriptions - they include sayings of real people representing these types, together with descriptions of real situations. The same with celebrities she mentions.

For this reason, I will be glad if her book one day will be published.

    Default Socionics bible

I've been thinking: is there a book that I can use to teach Socionics to people who doesn't know anything about? I'm not aware of such material since I learned from fragments around the Internet...

The Socionics.us info seems to be the most digestible starting ground, but it doesn't have a complete list of type descriptions (which may be quite a good thing, actually).

Socionics.us is so over written that it makes me want to peel my corneas.

Filatova's book is available in English and sufficiently easy for beginners to read and become acquainted with the basics.

Ah beat me to it by 20 minutes, before I had refreshed the page. Good thinking though.

Reinin's book can throw you off though ... everyone who reads it types and retypes again and again... just a warning. I do not think any book is good. That is why we struggle here on the forum. I would ... use enneagram first ???

Then move from E type to something else. Socionics is too complex and theory centered for popular use at this time.

I have Filatova's book and it's a good intro. It skips Model A and is more basic and digestible.

Why do you think that especially Reinins book does that because of the type-descriptions?

I always liked that socionics is kind of complex and structural it really depends on the person with what to start. When you see glancing eyes during trying to explain Model A you're on the right way.
But I also made the experience that E is for most people more interesting at least at the beginn

I would say it depends are what effect you want on the people you are talking too. If you want to turn them on to socionics, then an approach that creates interest is the way to go. If not you need to jump to the results.
