    This is temporary, while I remodel a room.

    Cool, but I'd personally go with a more ergonomic setup. A chair with back support, get rid of the keyboard tray so you can move the keyboard around the desk for the monitor and keep it by the mouse (that looks awkward to use together), add an ergonomic keyboard (I hate rectangle keyboards), put the boxes away in storage (it's cluttering up the desk), maybe replace the desk so you aren't confined to a small corner by the cabinets on either side. And if you are running wireless, I'd add a low voltage outlet for cat5e to your router/switch. Wireless always seems too flaky.

    but that's me...

    And I'm disappointed to find that no one accidentally doxed themselves (so far) with geotagging.

    Same mouse, same printer, :> , yours is a better chair.
    Initially I wanted to build the rig small and compact, but could never fit the old ROG IV Black Edition board into one and when I upgraded to a Ryzen 7, the new motherboards were too big as well, so the case didn;t end up as a "quiet server" as I intended at one point.

    I have a TARTARUS V2 for games tbh, thats why the keyboard is there. mainly use it for typing. I agree about the chair tho, it isn't comfortable. I got it because it was robust. Its hard to find a good chair.
    The desk is fine, I just need to reorganize a bit. Everything is wired here, I have a PfSense router hooked up to the modem and that connects to 2 gigabit wireless routers throughout the house (upstairs and in my room behind the 27 inch monitor there). I have 1 gb download and about 500 mb upload speeds.

    @onfireee
    You may connect the notebook to normal monitor to save your eyes. Also external keyboard is comfortable.

    Design-wise I like this - the repetition of curves and the juxtaposition of squares, rectangles and circles.

    If you pay the maids less, you can hire groundspeople, too. Then you can run for President.

    Lol, I am on the opposite end. Maybe my initial ESI typing was accurate My home is is never messy and I don’t comprehend how people can have it this way... it’s not immaculate, but definitely tidy. Clothes on the floor is a completely foreign concept to me. I wasted a lot of energy getting errands done yesterday on my day off, but then just HAD to get the cleaning done for my sanity...which honestly I don’t think most people would have noticed there being much of a need. It’s finally done though and I can relax, sort of (still laundry, hanging some items up, and organizing my new pin board alphabetically to be done). I am constantly updating weekly lists on my phone. x.x And before you say SEI Sol, my EIE father is similar (though I know of others who are total slobs).

    I recently moved here after having stayed at my parents for a while and having given much away due to lack of space in the garage, as well as due to some other reasons. I’m not too satisfied with this office space for many reasons and still keeping my eye out for good filing cabinets. I also wish my pictures were framed. It’s the most cluttered place on the walls in my house, but it kind of reminds me of what my space at an actual work office would look like. There is a lot I wish were different, but... it’s cozy enough for now. I don’t actually spend personal computer time here, it’s only for work (and that is more work issued laptop, they will be proving a 2nd monitor and charging station soon). My new position will be half remote even after the covid stay-at-home orders pertaining to my job clear up. 2 days in office, 2 at home. It sucks being right by the window and entertainment center, but this place was not designed well and I don’t want to pay to fix the other outlet when I’m already planning on moving when my lease is up.

    lol.. I get messier as neuroticism increases throughout the week.. by weekend I can't stand the mess anymore and I clean up.. for me its therapeutic as if I'm cleaning up my mind. Next week it all starts again, but I prefer to be clean and tidy for my sanity tbh lel.. the mess grows like mushrooms throughout the week however.

    Same. What I use as a table/desk is a bed frame with the mattress removed lol

    I don’t actually use my PC at home nowadays, only my phone.

    The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.
