She just looks embarrassed. And why would you expect an LSI to use Fi and not Fe? They're weak at both, but value Fe. I DEFINITELY use more Si than Se, I can tell you that.

She generally looks very measured to me.

she's def LSI. but role function Fi is pretty easy to spot. it's when people do the expected, convention thing with the IE in that position. seems kind of obvious in the vids posted here.

Fe isn't about naturally expressing felt emotions in the moment; if anything that would be more Si or Ni, depending on the context. Fe is about reading and expressing deliberately; this is why EIEs are called "The Actor." In this sense, I see ZJ as too unconstrained to be an Fe type. However her overall demeanor seems more physically controlled, "in line" so to speak, to be EIE, and too rigid for an ESE.

Compare her to Bellucci, or even Madonna, then compare her to, say, Robin Williams, David Bowie, Angelina Jolie, or any other Fe dominant. You'll see the differences, I'm sure.

Hmm. I'm not sure I understand your distinction between ZJ being "too unconstrained to be an Fe type," and her demeanour being "more physically controlled" than EIE. Are you saying that she naturally/automatically displays whatever emotion she happens to be feeling, but then is physically controlled in her expression of that feeling? And an EIE would be more constrained in what emotions she expresses, but less physically controlled in her expression of it? I don't want to comment on Williams and Bowie, etc., until I'm more sure of what you mean.

Also, what is your opinion of her husband Michael Douglas' type?

I don't know anything about Michael Douglas.

I think ZJ is too emotionally unconstrained to be an Fe type, too rigid and contained to be an ESE, and too physically well-controlled to be an EIE.

One last question before I state my final conclusions on this matter: would you agree that if Ms. Zeta-Jones is in fact LSI, then she is more emotionally expressive than most LSIs? Or do you contend that all LSIs are as emotionally expressive as she?

Looks like everyone decided LSI was her type, and then decided to prove it. If you actually look at the videos and consider what she's like, it's really hard to come to the conclusion of LSI. Unless, you've already convinced yourself that's what she is. Both ESE and EIE are a better fit.

I would say that emotional expressiveness is a trait that varies among all types, but perhaps she is moreso than LSIs are typically thought of as being.

I've just has a quick read through this thread and a brief look at the videos
I agree with the general view of Beta rational and can see how people can see LSI and EIE.

Personally I'd go with LSI for her. My reasons are that although her face body language does seem quite emotionally expressive (certainly more than your stereotypical or even typical LSI), she does not seem totally natural and there were points where she turned from the audiance for a flash where all emotion suddenly left her face and you're left with these cool, sturdy eyes.

There is very little natural emotional flow to her. - hmm repeating myself

This is something that cannot be explained logically and is merely my response to her emotional expression. It seems likes she's trying.

Saying that I'm not the best at typing especially from limited information and from my perspective I wouldn't rule out EIE.

I'm a n00b, and I'm probably wrong, but I've been watching more vids of her and I think she's IEE. In all my noobness, I believe LSI is not an option. I don't care who said it or where it is stated that she is LSI.

No, Fe is natural pure emotion.

    Gawd she is so beautiful.

I heard she is a mega cunt in real life.

I get it though, people see people like this, powerful, self assured, and wealthy, as cunty. For all kinds of reasons. Maybe she is, maybe she isn;t, maybe its all in how you look at it.

She would not take no for an answer for her first acting gigs.

LSI-Se for sure. Her facial features look like other LSI-Se. She's really not all that emotional anyway, I love how she usually doesn't smile in photos (she looks quite unemotional in her photos).

I'm not sure what type she is, other than she's not ESI and she's super hot.

I'm kind of leaning towards her being either LSI-Se or IEI-Fe today.

She's been married to Michael Douglas for 22 years ... went through a cancer scare, and now he's doing pretty ok for being 77. I say they are a dual pair.

Subtypes are something I have to distill (in my mind) for awhile.

So charming, makes me proud of my Welsh heritage

lol there’s a bit on Wikipedia quoting her as saying ‘I drink, I swear, I like sex’ sounds beta to me.

I love that they’re still together, despite the age gap and both having health problems

    EIE/LSI duality envy…
