Hi all, Marv here. Been hanging out on PerC for a while and decided to join this place, too.

I don't know a lot about socionics, but after a couple of days of reading, I feel I can relate to EII more than any other type... Being "named" after your favourite author isn't bad either.

I speak fluent Russian which I suppose is an advantage as far as socionics go. I must say I've found the tone of a lot of the Russian materials on socionics ... overly imposing and forcefully subjective. Not that I've read much thus far. A Russian acquaintance once said I'm "Balzac", can't recall which 3-letter code that is now... ILI? I prefer Fyodor Mihalych if I get to have a say. I'm calmly sanguine when relaxed and existentially melancholic when exhausted.

I've noticed. Jung wasn't exactly a paragon of scientific accuracy himself. I know a couple of New Age adherents who love him.

That's fine. I'm not particularly interested in having a type, just understanding myself to the greatest extent possible. While posting a video of myself would definitely be a challenge well outside of my comfort zone, the timing is wrong. Maybe at some later point.
