    Default Spiked: Professional Trolls

Has anyone else here seen these Koch Brothers-funded group of professional trolls before? They used to be the Revolutionary Communist Party of England, then realized right-wing trolling pays more than left-wing trolling to the benefit of the Left's good public image.

Right now, they're complaining about the decline of the world's smoking population, leftists acting "woke," attacks on "patriotism," the new Star Wars trilogy being too "PC," and Greta Thunberg. Any caricature of a right-wing talking point you can imagine, with the exceptions of overt racism and advocacy of rigid gender roles, is written down by the staff of Spiked and spread throughout Britain under many different cover organizations and the rest of the world as a "British humanist news magazine."

I don't think I've heard of them before. I don't know why they thought that was a good choice of name.

I'm probably fundamentally opposed to their view of their world, even if they may occasionally have a view I agree with - they seem to have an acidic tone and be prone to making sweeping generalisations of The Enemy.

They really aught to try harder, it's not very convincing.
    Everything happens for a reason.

Yes, for example, standing behind Rowling's political views is good, but they even manage to do that wrong.
