This is one of those rare times when I disagree with you, Marie, at least on some of those. I agree that it's a definite possibility that Monica Bellucci is LSI (she's some kind of logical introvert, anyway), and I couldn't find enough on Helena Christensen to type her.

However, I think Christina Hendricks is some kind of base-Fe type, possibly ESE -- in her interviews she's always talking about excitement and being excited, and exudes a lot of emotional expressiveness. She doesn't seem to comment on Ti issues in the interviews I saw. However, I admit that ESE is not a typing I'm confident in; I didn't get duality vibes from her like I often do with interviews of other ESEs.

And of course, I argued extensively in a previous thread, I think Catherine Zeta-Jones is EIE. But I won't restart that argument here.

I won't even bother to comment on all the weird socionix/Model X typings, except to say that Sarah Michelle Gellar is blatantly ESE, as seen in the following interview:

That was actually the main interview I was looking at, plus a few others that weren't much different (probably the same ones you watched ). Interesting that we came to such different conclusions based on the same evidence!

To me, in that video she comes across as much more extraverted and free with her emotions than your typical Ti-base. Her hand gestures are loose and open like an extravert's, and she always seems to be smiling or laughing.

Compare with this interview of Gina Torres:

While Ms. Torres does smile, it's brief and quickly returns to a serious, analytical expression. Ms. Hendricks, on the other hand, smiles and laughs much more frequently, and her default expression is a quieter smile, not "serious analysis". Ms. Torres is always saying "I think this" and "I think that", providing an analysis of the movie or situation, while Ms. Hendricks simply relates stories and things that have happened to her.

Anyway, that's just my thoughts on the subject.

I have met the breed of LSI who shows no emotions; and who almost fits the stereotype to a tee. I have generally kept away from them, but since discovering I was EIE I found at least one person I mistyped as SLI to be LSI and it seems that the showing no emotions stereotype is pretty damn exaggerated; they show at least a decent amount of emotion. Obviously its not the same as Fe egos but theirs a clear difference between them and those of SLI's, they look much more comfortable with its usage and the interaction feels alot smoother, less awkward, more flexible and varied. I think sometimes it is something that has to be 'activated' in them, so to speak. No idea whose right or wrong in here, but yes I hope you and others would look into it. LSI's dont get that much recognition around here; no wonder they barely stick around

You're right on here... LSIs show emotion when you show emotion, (Fe,) and engage them in conversation...

I agree with you--peoples' stereotypes of LSIs here are ridiculous... They're not rigid, stiff people... The army-like hierarchy stereotype is particularly incorrect -- LSIs are "hierarchical" in the way they think and make mental connections. This doesn't equate to "all LSIs love the army, and are rigid, stiff assholes..." That's the stereotype, and it's wrong.

There is a particular difference in personality between the LSI subtypes. The type you're describing sounds like a Ti-LSI, (quiet but sympathetic when engaged in conversation... In general, they are pretty sarcastic.) The Se-LSI can seem extroverted--they're often talkative and all over the place.
