How to win over this gamma.

    • Call it like you see it.
    • Don't be afraid to challenge the norm or the consensus.
    • Pour on the sarcasm, as much as you want.
    • Sense of humor required.
    • be able to see the big picture
    • have an idea of where you want to go in life
    • Keep your disagreements on the idea, and not the person.
    • Ability to think outside the box
    • An understanding of history.
    • Moral standards for what is right and wrong, good and bad, etc.
    • Don't try to make excuses for or rationalize bad behavior. It's bad period.
    • Take responsibility for your actions.

I might disagree with just about everything that you say, but if you're doing the above I'll still respect you. Like with a friend of mine, he and I are on opposite sides of the fence politically and we used to argue back and forth all the time. At the end of the day while I still disagreed, I did respect his point of view, where he was coming from, and his style of argumentation which was kept to the ideas being discussed and not personal attacks. And that seems to be a rare thing these days, especially online.

    Trust

The kind we may neglect our guard enough to let them speak for us, keep our treasures and significant ones safe, and believing that, even if things went wrong, that failure had a reason you'll find acceptable later.

I found these qualities or the gist they might develop among three ESI and two EII. Of course, this takes years.

Very desirable. Allows for peaceful dissent.
