I agree, clear SEE. He was well-known for being a ladies' man but he also took his close relationships very seriously. Had a posse that went with him everywhere.
There are a few long interviews with some of his close associates. Another interesting observation is that he found it impossible to admit when he was wrong -- when he wanted to apologize to someone he would buy them lavish gifts like cars and houses.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Well I'd asked after checking Sergei Ganin's site over at socionics.com and he has people like Paul McCartney listed as SEE celebrities but no sign of Elvis. Overall I'd only ventured on extrovert for Elvis and hadn't bothered to look further into details. Thanks to all for your contributions

My least favorite interpretation of Elvis. Plastic performance, too brooding and jaded I thought. Seemed off to me. I think of Elvis always having some level of camp.

Yes, good point. Her biography sort of describes her as an aggressor as well. Priscilla got so infatuated with Elvis that she invaded his social circle and indirectly "conquered" him with quite a lot of pressure, even at such a young age.

Sooo...where I work they play the radio all day and for an hour there's this Elvis station that plays Elvis songs, but also has people talk about their experience with Elvis. The more I listened on their conversations, I got the impression of a humble Se type that didn't mesh well with the Hollywood types and didn't care about it. There was a lot of concern and respect for the people that helped him and were around in his life. Got the impression of SEE. So I agree...

EIE-Ni 3w2 sx/so is an easy call for Presley (Bill Clinton is IEE-Fi 3w2 sx/so)

Tupac wasn't EIE imo, same socionics type and subtype as Common, Mos Def, Joey Badass who are all IEI-Fe, you can pattern type for yourself if you want. Positive 6,6w5 aswell imo. 269 archetype 6s come across very extroverted especially with so/sx variants.
