    Default Sloppy Paint Jobs

Which type(s) would you be most apt to hire to paint the interior of your house? And which, from a functional standpoint, might tend to do the sloppiest job? Not that I'm trying to spread prejudice on painters ... It'd be interesting to see (i.e., validate) who lacks patience for these kinds of tasks, and who enjoys them.

My ESTp husband, ESTj father and myself (INTj) all enjoy it, do a good job and would be appalled at the waste of money by hiring someone. My INFj mother and INFp sister could care less.

I'd probably hire an ISTj or ESTj to paint the interior.
The sloppiest would probably be INTps. You'll understand me if you ever see an INTp buttering a slice of bread - they just take a chunk of butter, place it on the bread and place cheese on top of it. The most that they will do is smugde the butter with one move, but usually not even that.

lol, this is one of those rare situations, when I don't see any sexual connotations, but someone else does. Usually I'm the first to giggle.

    Nope.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Well, the best painter I know of was Van Gogh (if you have the chance to see originals, make sure you bring an extra pair of underwear), who was, IMO, IEI (SEI if not).

Indeed, I was quite taken aback when I visited the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.

Ditto. I could have looked at each one of those paintings for hours.

Take an Ij--they'll do the job with precision.
Take an Ej--they'll do the job fast and efficiently. (Maybe this is only Ejs)
Take an Ip--they'd rather not do it at all.
Take an Ep--they'll get bored before it's even halfly done.

    Is this MBTI-like stereotypism?

if i were to hire somebody to paint my house, i would not care less what type they were. it sounds extremely dubious to me the idea that the quality of the paint job will be affected by the painter's type.

I don't think this is type-related. This is like asking what type is best at taking out the trash/recycling.

At any rate, I don't understand why anyone would hire someone to do such a simple, literally "paint-by-numbers" job. I ended up repainting the whole of my parents' house because all the walls were purple () when we moved in, and no one else would do it.
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."

Maybe you're taking your ability to do this type of thing for granted? There are some people who have more patience to do this sort of thing well than others. And no matter how hard they try, they underperform.
