Default Why are all the negative stereotypes attributed to Beta?

Why is every brute beta, why is every obnoxious person supposed to be beta, why is American Pie beta?! WTF?! Like really. Unnecessary drama, over-acted emotionalism, aggressive behavior, being bossy, only wanting money, caring more about "what people think" than about reasonable behavior, Russia acts so beta, ...etc. The list goes on and on.

Beta has the worst reputation of all. This is of course totally biased and unjust. I wish people would stop accusing beta of everything that is wrong in the world and start seeing how fucked up their own quadras are.

Lol, I was also thinking of making a thread about this. I get the impression people type betas on the basis of this "inadequate" (To put it mildly) behavior "Dramatic, aggressive, loud, obnoxious, he must be some kind of a beta". Or in other words, person possesses bad qualities = beta.

I disagree. No rep = no connections = liberty. You're free to do as you wish with no fear of judgment (Which = persecution = loss of liberty = not living, being as good as dead).

How consequential is human judgment really?
    She is wise
    beyond words
    beautiful within
    her soul
    brighter than
    the sun
    lovelier than
    love
    dreams larger
    than life
    and does not
    understand the
    meaning of no.
    Because everything
through her, and in her, is
    "Yes, it will be done."

Well, uhm, I'm not really that proactive so having a bad reputation severely limits my potential. How about good rep < no rep < bad rep? I just can't see bad rep being better then no rep.

Having no rep is the worst imo. It seems as if no one cares about you and you are been ignored.

Don't worry. In the real world, we're loved. And if people don't love us, we can always strong-arm and beat them into submission, or have a hissy fit and make them listen to our grievances which we artfully magnify to Biblical proportions.
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."

Weird... you INFps really like being ignored? =/

Maybe it's just me who is the attention-freak then.. perhaps I really *am* ENFj at heart.

Anyway.. I actually enjoy this "bad rep" of Betas.. I agree with FDG that no rep is worse. I'd rather be over-dramatic and agressive than traditional, boring, useless.. etc. I find that some people are scared of Betans and/or intimidated by the extreme motivation fueled by aggression..

But we have our soft side.. the romantic NiFe side..

Which is why that damn Dino pic doesn't fit

Beta gets a bad rep because most of the people who frequent here were losers in high school. That's about it.
