Excluding your own, which is your favorite quadra? I was thinking today that I like alpha quite a bit. I tend to think of apple pie, warm blankets and geeky inventors when I think of alpha.

delta... layed back and peacefull. not obsessed with consumption.
I voted for the last option
I'm fine as long as there's loudness, no elitism, and people who pay attention to what a person says instead of interrupting them every couple of sentences with joined singing... and other such superficial interaction that prevent the occurrence of serious, intelligible discussions wherein people can actually get to know each other better.

ASU is okay.
USC are just a bunch of jabronies. ASU happened to send a QB to Nebraska who may play for NU this year. Or was that Arizona.
We'll see how he does.

At the moment, I'm thoroughly annoyed with everyone, equally.

Rather stupidly, I voted Gamma before reading the post which said not to vote for your own. So in place of Gamma, I'd have to say Delta is my favourite quadra, since Delta has ENFps.

delta, definitely. although beta is interesting in a sort of highly-motivated, highly-disciplinary power structure bla bla bla sort of way.
I can't tell one from the other.

I dislike Beta and Delta equally.
Beta is abrasive drama-queens, and Delta is pretentious bores.

Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.
I have positive/negative relations with all types.

I find gamma's inexhaustively interesting to watch from a safe distance, so despite that they are the quadra conflicting to mine, I'll take them over beta and delta any day.
My guess is that you are referring to the fact that Rhodesia never actually had a president. There were a few years where it was a Republic of Zimbabwe-Rhodesia (?) and during this time there were maybe two presidents before it went back under British rule. It was apparently never internationally recognized and was prevented from entering trade relations. So, if this is the correct reference, then I guess Rhodesia was NOT better off being half real rather than totally fake.Originally Posted by niffweed17

my reference is valid and historically accurate.
Gamma used to be my favourite in theory but living with an INTp and a possible ENTj and seeing their behavior first hand has changed this. I think my moral values clash with those of most INTps even though their reasoning usually makes good sense to me. Then the SFs there often seem to me to be needlessly bitchy and competitive moreso than the types in any other quadra. Something about the the presence ofOriginally Posted by labcoat

I would expect that gamma would be very popular with a lot of people though.
My perfect quadra would have INTjs forms alpha, INFps from beta, ESFps from gamma and ENFps from delta but the I guess the whole INTj/ESFp thing wouldn't work out very well

Ive had quiet a lot of ENFp interaction so maybe have picked up social stuff from them so Fe polr dosent seem obvious, but in real life I get stick for it like all ISTp's do. Also I conciously try to be better at it sometimes by copying others after I have deconstructed the essence of an interaction and understand why it gets the reaction it does (im so hopeless
)
I voted alpha coz they have my semi-dual ENTp, who are great, a toned down version of the ENFp duals in a kinda wayand INTj's, who are intriguing with their solidity of character, and their overly analitical minds. Also the ISFp's share my Si although it comes out a bit different, but still nice.

Alpha and Beta are my favorites. I definitely have more Beta friends than any other quadra, but there is more tension upon first meeting them than with Alphas: there are definitely power struggles with SLEs once in a while, and LSIs can definitely be frustrating. IEIs are about 50/50, depending on the variant: I can always have a nice discussion with them, but there is definitely a disproportionate number of bitches among the Fe subtypes; pretty much the same with EIEs (although I DEFINITELY have more problems with EIEs than IEIs: they embody the "rule-abiding citizen" part of Beta to me).
I'm largely indifferent to Gammas because I don't really think I know enough of them well enough to make any kind of broad statement about them.
I have mixed experiences with Deltas; it really just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. The irrationals are almost always fun, but the rationals get on my nerves (and I theirs) in too short of a time for me to have really rewarding interactions with them on a regular basis.
