Ned Herrmann has created a model built directly on BRAIN REGIONS.

There are four regions or modes of thinking : A, B, C, and D.

A - Left Cerebral Lobe : Analytical, Logical, Technical, Informational.
B - Left Limbic Lobe : Sequential, Structural, Organised, Detail-oriented, Scheduled.
C - Right Limbic Lobe : Interpersonal, Emotional, Sensory, Sentimental, Social.
D - Right Cerebral Lobe : Holistic, Visual, Conceptual, Intuitive, Creative.

I like this model, because it's simple to learn and to use, and it's NOT caricatural like Myers' or Eysenck's typologies.

I analysed 10 typologies, and classified them by some sort of caricature potential level (called CP below) :

Very Low CP : Socionics, HBDI
Low CP : Enneagram, Holland
Average CP : Myers-Briggs, Keirsey, DiSC
High CP : FFM
Very High CP : MMPI, PCM
