I figured it was about time we had a proper census here, so that we could start get organized. After all, the rise of Rome to greatness was at least partially triggered by the census Servius Tullius performed in year 508 B.C., and we could certainly need a rise to glory .

This is interesting. I think delta is a quiet (some would say dull ) quad. When Im around my dual I am not as energetic as I am with other types. The reason is, I dont need to be. The istp causes me to relflect, relax, observe. My duals seem to enjoy seeing me interact with other people. Its like they are learning and from me indirectly. They like getting carried away with whats going on without having to be in the center of it. They do things to move events along, for example, they dont mind driving.
When we are away from others they enjoy teaching me about the world around me, like how to cook something, or make something or how its put together. When dealing with others I might use alot of but one on one is much more the theme.
So when you look at the values of Delta you get Ne Te Si Fi. With no Se or Fe things arent as wild and dramatic. Anyway thats my take on it.... :wink:

Really, I think there might be a few people here who have perhaps typed themselves incorrectly(easily done). Not sure why I have been getting this feeling lately while reading the Delta posts but who knows its only a feeling- could be wrong.

Well, I'm quite sure my subtype is the dreaded and despised " intuitive" one. The one that involves extremely little social interaction? Yes, that one. I'm quite sure the other subtype would be more fun loving.

I really do not want to be a member of the type police here. So briefly, I think a few INFjs here just give of a sort of less serious 'vibe' than some others. Hope I am not being like one here but INFjs are usually more likely (not intentionally of course) to strain a light atmosphere than seek to actively create one(I think the socionics site might have hinted at this). The other INFjs I know and most of the ones here tend to be more active observers than very prolific short term posters and I think that is why the INFj thread has been quiet for so long.

Some, but not all INFjs actually find even the word fun a bit annoying. It sort of conjures up images of a couple of loud, frivolous, annoying extrovert types and a dreaded party (yes, I know some other introvert types feel this way too). The only actively fun seeking people in this quadra seem to be the ENFps and to a slightly lesser extent the ISTps and this why Delta might seem restrained to some others. Fun is not generally a great INFj priority but thankfully, they are ENFps here trying to lighten things so that we don't drown in depth and boredom.
I am not the type police and I really don't want to be actively saying people aren't what they say they are because I have no real evidence or interest in proving otherwise. I was just noting a generally more 'exciting' quality to the INFjs that are here now it feels like Beta- well not quite.

I think may have something to do with all parties and observers consenting to taking in the information (Even when the "information" is light-hearted jokes and obscene references ). We do not *force* any obnoxious behaviour on others, like Extraverts so often do (Yeah, yeah, not intentionally, but that's what it comes across as), but rather put down our opinion where people can see it if they want to. That might just make a heap of difference.
