    Gattaca, one of my favorite movies of all time. I can't believe it bombed in the box office!

    One movie that some of my Delta friends absolute love is 2046 by Wong Kar Wai. It's a pretty obscure film over here in the states but those of you in Asia might have seen it. If you haven't - well then you're in for a treat. An amazing film.

    Powerful emotions that boil under the surface, lots of subtlety -
    Very visual movie, Wong Kar Wai tells his story through color and uniquely memorable scenes -

    This is probably an incredibly useless post, but I loved 2046 (and loved its prequel, In the Mood for Love, even MORE) and Grave of the Fireflies completely tore me to shreds and flipped me inside out.
