    Default Single/double eyelids

I have no idea what "single eyelids" are either. It sounds like she doesn't want to date frogs, or snakes, or whatever creature it is who has double eyelids. Isn't it frogs who have double eyelids? Or is it snakes? I can't remember.

She's talking about people who have a lot of flesh over their eyelids, I think. A deeper crease? Hard to explain.

I guess she just wrote it naturally then. I agree that it sounded rather childish and needy to a certain extent, and I would be kind of depressed if someone does everything for me as what she had described 'cos it makes me feel useless. But I guess when you write such descriptions, you tend to think how the other person can help you in the relationship rather than how you can help him. Moreover, I kind of like that type of guy that she had described, especially the physical aspects, just that I prefer us to do things together rather than he provides help to me most of the time.

As for single eyelids.....I don't really know how to describe it.....oriental-like eyes? but she means something like this.:

OMG did that look painful. I know what my nightmare will be tonight! A big pink Y-shaped tool being poked all around my eye!

you beat me to it, auvi. i was about to post this. and yeah i have seen lipo and a lot of different sorts of surgeries (elective/cosmetic type things and more uh, non-elective urgent things like appendectomies.) i grew up with a surgeon.

the whole thing is incredible and i don't know what to think of it. i think people should have more realistic standards for their sig. others and not walk around trying to turn everyone into living barbie dolls. that would be so fucking boring. i say this while i would totally get a nose job under the guise of "it's healthy, because my septum is deviated and i can't breathe."

think i should split this topic off from the main topic?

@ Mea: Actually, it has been sold here for the past three years. I have seen it in a number of shops specializing in selling beauty products and cosmetics. Even though the shops placed demo videos beside the product, there are quite a number of people buying it.

A more tradtional alternative to the product would be transparent surgical tape which you place on each of your eyelid, but I heard that it is uncomfortable. Eyelid surgeries are an alternative too, just that it's rather expensive.

it does give the eyes a more feminine look, but I don't condone unnecessary surgery.

This is so sad. I don't think anyone should have to poke their eye out to try to look nice. The darn media...
