Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Other stuff:

    Arrested Development
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfHYKHes3xc

    and of course South Park
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdhL6mmsRb0

They both have constant battling for power between people trying to realize their visions... And even though both of the shows are pretty aristocratic in outlook I think AD more often jokes about the characters failings to reach the elite whereas SP takes more of an underdog perspective. BTW, do you guys think that having very swift changes in power dynamics for comical effect is uniquely beta or just ordinary comedy..?

I just posted random old crap that I liked. There's no such thing as "Beta humor."

Good list, Medley. Minus The Stooges. I believe one of my first posts ever was a tirade on those negligent sons of bitches.

    Chaplin's little tramp films.

Leave it to Beaver. (Growing up, I always loved to see when wally would be taking a girl out dancing and whatnot...i couldn't wait until someone asked me. I turned 16 and no one wanted to dance except at high school things, but those were lame. that wasn't the right music to dance to!)

Best of all, Little House on the Prarie. !!! They lacked clips on YouTube.

Mmmm.. I watched these things when I started understanding English. I was 10-11 yo. (Actually I started to understand English because of these things.)

    All those pretty Disney cartoons.
Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, etc

    Tales from the Crypt!

    Quantum Leap. I miss it.

Cartoon Network. lol. It's a channel with all those cartoons... Captain Planet, Dexter's Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, etc.

OuterLimits ( house with roots. )

Erie Indiana - a few episodes still creep me out... Especially with the guy with braces who could understand dogs and the dogs ate people...

Here is another good Benny Hill:

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
    --Theodore Roosevelt

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
    -- Mark Twain

Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

Suspicion [Hitchcock] -- focuses on INFp/ESTp duality
    Rebecca [Hitchcock]-- INFp/ISTj activity partners
    Sunset Boulevard -- ENFj drama
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty -- stereotypical INFp

I always associate musicals with ENFjs.

However, even the revolution is totally driven by Alpha concepts: Durden is promoting, and trying to impliment, a form of primitivism, which is a totally Alpha concept. Also, the movie is about forming new social standards, as opposed to protecting them. We should also consider that the movie is all about pointing out the bad parts of Beta. And of course, Ed Norton's character is clearly ILE, as is he.

It could go either way. I'd say it's more about the interactions between Alpha than either one of them specifically.

Beta movies..hmmm...Dead Poet's Society, Miracle, Garden State, Gangs of New York, any movie about high-school, football, or both

    What about Bleach?

The animated series of the popular japanese comic created by Kubo Tite.
    She is wise
    beyond words
    beautiful within
    her soul
    brighter than
    the sun
    lovelier than
    love
    dreams larger
    than life
    and does not
    understand the
    meaning of no.
    Because everything
through her, and in her, is
    "Yes, it will be done."

You know, I tried to place them, and I think Gamma works. They're all about money, violence, (Se) and coincidence (Ni), and there's definitely more of a focus on the interaction between individuals rather than the group (Fi).
