    ESTj?... a wild guess

    Quotes:

Really, I'm incredibly disjointed and not candid. Just in general, my thoughts tend to come out in little spurts that don't necessarily connect. If you hang around long enough, you can find the linear path. But it will take a second. That is why these interviews never go well for me.

I am quite shy and people think I'm aloof.

I like making pies. I have a bunch of fruit trees in my backyard. My loquat tree sprouted, and I like making loquat pie. They're really hard to peel and everything, and it took me forever, but they make the best pies. They're amazing.

Even while starting out I took things very seriously; I wasn't the sort of kid that would do a doll commercial or do a series for Nickelodeon. They asked me to do silly things, and I wasn't a silly kid.

I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them.

Acting is such a personal thing, which is weird because at the same time it's not. It's for the consumption of other people. But in terms of creative outlets and expressing yourself, it's just the most extreme version of that that I've ever found. It's like running, it's exertion.

I've always had an aversion to looking sexy, but I've grown out of it.

I would have been very happy just working from job to job, paying my rent one movie at a time. I never wanted to be this famous. I never imagined this life for myself.

Despite what people think, I was such a rule follower at school. I loved the whole slacker look, like, 'Hey, I don't care, whatever,' but if I didn't turn my homework in, I would panic.

I want a cheeseburger so badly, but I have to be a vampire in a few weeks.

There's an idea about who I am that's eternally projected onto me, and then I almost feel like I have to fulfill that role. Even when things come out of my mouth, I want to be sure I'm saying exactly what I mean.

Once you have done with school, you realise that it is just a smaller version of life, and really I have felt that I should have been an adult since I was aged about five.

Here’s a link to some quick interviews:

Fine I’ll just keep posting until someone suggests a type.

I’ll add on more info if asked to.

Also if someone does suggest a type please explain why.

And finally, I’m really curious as what her type is, I saw one of her movies and totally loved her performance. So I’ll be a pain in the arse and keep bringing this topic up until I get sufficient response.

ps I know y’all don’t care ‘bout this. But I do so like I said, I’ll keep bringing it up.

Bottom line is: Give me godamn answers!!

Aww she's such a cute girl. I was trying to think about this but at the moment Im stumped. ESTJ may not be such a bad call. I dont see her as being very complicated but sort of open and sincere. Thats just based on the few clips I looked at on youtube though. I noticed she moves around alot when she is speaking.

I just saw her in "Speak". The character seemed very INTx.

As for her - maybe ISTp?

    This is a good interview:

No way she is an ethical type, at least.

When she responds to Ryan Seacrest in the interview her answers are rather terse and factual (indicative of IT), whereas Seacrest (most likely EF) focuses on engaging the audience, making a lot of eye contact etc.

Theres something super sexy about the way she holds her face
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Remember someone pointing at on another forum that she might be on the autistic spectrum. Her speech is a bit awkward and she stims a little bit; in the video with conan, she rocks back and forth and holds her arm. She rocks her legs with the Jimmy Fallen video as well.

Anyway, it kind of makes it hard for me to type her because of that. Some Fi/Te type seems right though.

She sort of seems weak with Fe in my opinion, and not just because of the lack of expressiveness that everyone points out (which is getting trite).

Yeah, I agree. But I also think it has a lot to do with her autistic tendencies - the awkwardness, fidgeting, clumsiness, etc. And that makes her a bit different. So she could be say ESI/EII with understated Fe and won't really appear like normal people of those types or SLI/ILI with awkward Fe and overstated Fi, rather than the expected weak Fe and understated Fi like I usually see with those types. I don't know, maybe I'm just projecting because I have similar autistic tendencies to Kristen, but it's part of the reason I found this forum so frustrating when I first got here. I don't think things always fit neatly into 16 types, but that's often the goal. And I don't mean to sound like I analyze the shit out of all people either, lol; I just like to use this to think about how people are different sometimes.

Yeah when someone rocks their leg - confirmed autism

Ive worked with autistic children and had friends with aspergers, she shows no signs of autism

On topic: where do people see extroversion in her?
