Default Dominance of Creative Function Over Time

i've noticed that people's creative functions become more dominant the older they get. kind of like a well-worn tool.

my man recently told me he picks up more on Ti with me than Ne, yet i've always considered myself more Ne dominant than Ti.

then again he may just be brushing past Ne since he can't use it all that much lol.

    thots?

I've never seen signs that people's functional preference changes with age.

I'm not sure diamond meant the order changes, just the proficiency at the creative function. Which makes sense to me. It's consciously practiced, and practice over time (usually) leads to more proficiency...

I used to think that I was able to momentarily shift my perceptive function use from Ne to Se, until later I realized that I was only using my Ne function the dynamic way, thus essentially drawing on 'unconscious' Si. Not to sure what to make of 'quadra-progression' stories these days, except that if there is truth to them I want to know how the hell that guy smilingeyes does it.

and perhaps the implications of a well developed creative function would be that it would seem almost like a lead function.
