    Default What is this characteristic?

When around people, gets the urge to do things. Socializing becomes more undesirable the more 'gossipy' it become. Consistent urge to find if anything needs to be done. When working in group settings, the urge to complete work as soundly and efficiently as possible becomes increasing larger. Wonders why other people do not act this way, and tends to move towards leadership positions - not for "prestige" it seems, but for the sheer desire to accomplish things as soundly and effectively as possible.

In contrast, others seemed much more inclined to talk amongst themselves, go at a very lax pace. Even though this was a Saturday, relatively optional event, it was distressing to see how other people moved so slowly, and approached things so lackadaisically. It was very unprofessional. People, IMO, were not taking it very seriously.

    It was just irritating.

So yes, this thread is about me. I am trying to figure out what this aspect of my personality is. Whenever I am in a group situation, I am automatically pushing it, striving for maximization potential. I really don't understand it, as I don't get tired. I personally enjoy being in that mode, I am finding.

It is so different when I am alone, or doing things on my own. It is much easier to become distracted or go at a more leisurely pace... so I want to figure out how I can tap into this energy and use it for my own means.

Fi role to the process? To Ni and Te ?
I feel a "responsibility" towards the program or completion, towards doing the job as well as possible.
It reflects not only on the organization, but also myself as well.

I am not sure how to even address this matter. But it has become increasingly apparent, and I want to know what it is.

Maybe it has something to do with a sense of duty.

When I go there, everything else fades away except for what is relevant to the objective. Intensity, focus.
It is actually kind of refreshing because I only have to worry about a few things, in comparison to 'general state'.
So perhaps it is a matter of being able to focus that intensity, to harness and completely focus energies.

I haven't really tried, honestly. Now that I am aware of it, we'll see how the experiments unfold.

This sounds like a Te trait.

ESTJ (LSE) would be my guess.

I didn't see this... yes I agree. What was written is Very Much me at work. I would almost say, word for word.
