I'm a Male ENTp

I don't think im interested in male types.
Female: INFp, ISFp, ESTp, ENFj, ENTp, ESFp
Most J's can go fuck themselves, but I'm a glutton for ENFj punishment.
And I definitely like Extroverted girls better. It's just that they don't know when to shut the fuck up.
INFP, ENTP, ENFP, ESFP.
I don't think I get along with any J types either.
not sure why this is in delta. moving elsewhere.

ok i'm gonna say who i've actually had relationships with since i've been alive so long
entp, enfj, esfj, infp, estp, infp.
i probably attracted to istp's as well, at least in theory, since i don't know many in my life that are my age right now. i could see being attracted to isfp's as well, but i don't think i know many and there are not many male ones left at this stage who aren't married.

I'm a female LIE.
My serious relationships have been with an ESI, LSE, LSI, LII, and ESI. Casual relationships include a SEE, LSE, and some others I haven't thought to type (it seems like I have a hard time getting serious with irrational types though). My attractions are generally to IJ's, occasionally EP's or EJ's (I was never really attracted to the LSE I was with though... it just sort of happened when I was really depressed).
female IEI here.
Had relationships with males: SLI, IEI, SEI. Currently married for 13 years to ESE.

The type of personalities of women I've observed to be the most appealing in my experience are:
ESTj LSE
ENFp IEE
ISTp SLI
ISFp SEI
ENTp ILE
ENTj LIE

I'm a male INTp and assuming I understand the question correctly, I've been with a female INFj in the past (that never really got past the casual stage, we were only together for 3 months) and am currently in a long-distance relationship with a female ESFp.

Oh im sorry, hehe.. I thought the question was INTERESTED IN, not SUCCESSFULLY DATING... since "Dated" means it didnt turn out well, right?
I've only dated ESFj's. They're a pain in the ass.
Me: Female ENFp
Most successful relationship so far is with an ENTp. The previous two (ENFj, ESTp) were disastrous.
I find IxTps attractive and would probably work out best. Relationships with ISTps are very comfortable, but I haven't met one that I'm interested in yet.
Relationships with IxFps are alright, but they don't go very far.
Mm. ENTps can be very attractive.

well, i interpreted "what types work for you" as in some sort of "oh, i really really jive with this one!" sense. i'm interpreting anyone who can get along with me as totally successful and if they were still dating me then THAT would be a success. you're probably right, though.Originally Posted by LokiVanguard
i dated one ESFj male and surprisingly it was one of my more "successful" relationships in terms of length. but i agree on the pain in the ass thing.

uh don't really get it.. types that seem to work? none, but most likely ESFj, ISFp, INFj, maybe ISxj if they were accepting subtype?? and an Uber Fe INFp, or an exceedingly mature and cool ENTp... maybe.
EDIT: now that the rules are clearer, I wouldn't consider any of my romantic encounters successful. drat
I am a INTj...and I prefer ESFjs, ISFps, ESTjs, ISTps and INFjs...at least so far .

I don't have much relationship experience... however, I used to go for people who were "like me," totally under-appreciating people who are unlike me. Now that seems to be a totally illogical approach in some ways. Like my last relationship, we sat around and did nothing a lot because neither of us were good at motivating ourselves... So unhelpful.
I've been think ST may work the best with me... but I'll be more specific and spout nonsense... ESTp, ESFp, ISTp... and I have started blanking. I love how each of those is in a different quadra. *smirk*
Christ just sitting around? Hope you guys didnt sniff glue or anything.
We weren't stupid! Just ineffective! Sometimes we did things... when someone else gave us something to do... and of course watching TV, movies, browsing the net, um... reading... were always options... or the movie theatre... or going out to eat... or... other boring things...Originally Posted by LokiVanguard
haha, that stuff is nice and all, during relaxation time, but too much relaxation time and i feel like going snowboarding or in extreme cases sky diving. Mix it up a bit. i guess thats why you two are no more eh?
oh, many reasons, but this contributes... oh yeah, and if we did anything physical he would criticize me for not doing well enough quickly enough... I do not like that at all...Originally Posted by LokiVanguard
This is interesting. So you think that an relationship between identical types or lookalikes wouldn't be the best. I wonder about that. I like what Rick says on his site about I-I relationships and how they kind of end up living in their own little worlds. I'll bet that would happen. But I sometimes wonder if that might be nice now and then. I know how I relate to my dad (who is ISFp). It's very comfortable just sitting around relaxing, doing nothing, making some funny comment now and then. I wonder if it would get boring after awhile despite the good level of understanding.

Christ, how are you supposed to encourage people to stick with stuff if you critique every single move they make, especially as beginners? We were ALL beginners at some point...Originally Posted by Loki

Exactly what I was thinking when I read that. Sheesh, my husband and I were kind of pathetic in the beginning. But after lots of practice, pretty great now, LOLOriginally Posted by LokiVanguard

I have dated SEI, SLI. Both relationships worked reasonably well for about 2 years and then fell apart. I have had a couple of weird pseudo relationships with LSE. . . These felt the best but logistically would have never worked out. : (

Huummmm, other Ep's are exciting romantically.
I think I've dated an ISFp, possibly an ENFp, an ISTp, an ISFj, and an ENTp.
None of them hardly mature relationships, besides the ENTp. And even still...we're only 19 and 21 so I'm sure we havn't reached a very high level of maturity yet. I think I'm ahead of him though, on the emotional maturity scale
Types I THINK I'd get along with romantically:
(not in specific order)
Possible:
INTp
ISTp
ENTp
ESTp
ESFp
ENFp (ehhh)
ENTj (this sounds hot to me for some reason )
ISTj (maybehhh)
INFp (maybehhh)
Probably never lol:
ISFp (eh)
INFj
ESTj
INTj
ENFj
ESFj
I keep open-minded about any potential relationship though. Friend or otherwise, regardless of socionics type.

Of Interest (but risky)......... ISTJ, ESTJ

For men its different. I can get along with most types no problem but sometimes i find ESTP (and occasionally ISFJ) a bit hard to take.

haha so many people have been mentioning their love for ESFp's yay!
soooo idk why but I've havd a few long-term relationships with INFj's- but I've learned to stay away from them... waaaaayyyyy too much going on between the two of us.
ESTj's i like but their so concerned with protecting me that i dont get to have my fun
ESTp's are fun... but i think he described it best when because of our s every day is like a new day when we see each other. Too similar for my taste.
INFp's i like a lot... I would def be down...
ESFj's, ENFj's, INTj's, ENFp's and ISTj's- you would have to murder me first.
INTp's... obvi  the only thing that bothers me about them is that they have such a fear of being held down/back that they have issues committing i guess im the same way but c'mon guys we're perfect for eachother!
ISTp's- maybe, maybe not
ENTj's- yeah, but they're kinda scary to me sometimes
ISFj's- nooo too similar to me
ENTp's i probably would be open-minded to trying...
ISFp's uhh idk maybe...
ESFp- ahhhhh that might end up bad for the both of us

I sort of feel the same way about ESFps, though from my perspective. You guys can have a cool serious/loyal side, but, any chemistry is only superficial.
....
A ton of Fi and someone who doesn't mind me protecting them? Sounds great to me.
