I've never really seen anything indicating weak Ti from Fabie; we seem to have very similar thought progression and styles of reasoning. Would you say so, Fabie?

    Slightly off topic:

    About this test

I am having trouble getting my computer to run this program. I have gotten as far as having the freebasic program and having the test downloaded on a word pad, but I cannot get the test to run on the basic program. Niffweed did give me some advice to do this, but unfortuantly it did not get me very far. How are you guys getting the test on you computer?

    thanks in advance.

open the start shell and input the directory of the test. if you're trying to make your own test, use the command fbc filenameX.bas, which creates an .exe file running the code in filenameX.bas.

Either that or you could use FBIDE.

I am going to make a topic in the Site discussion on how to get the test to work.

for those of you that don't know, machintruc took both of my versions of the test offline, mostly because he's an idiot.

if anyone wants to see those (they suck anyway), email me (please don't pm me; email is much easier for my purposes) and i'll send you the file. it's an executable file, but if you've taken this test you've probably also opened machintruc's .exe file, and i have no desire to destroy your computers.

there is a workaround if you don't trust me, but it's complicated.

My three highest were ILI at 23 something, LII at 20 something, and SLI at a high 18.

i'm not trying to get people to take my test; frankly i think my test sucks and i don't give a damn what they do. however, i want people to know that it does exist, and is available if they want to experiment with it.

you want to make sure they know that it can destroy their computer...in addition to being bad and being only available via one difficult delivery channel

yes, i do. as i said, this is not a sales job; i don't care whether people use this or not. this is for people that are interested in this topic and want to play with what i've already done. for these people, all of this information is highly relevant.

So..if it is relevant then how about
upload it to web, post a link, ask people to try it

Lol. I just got curious about all those warnings and self dismissal I'm not trying to piss you off.

it's been done. see the first four pages of this thread.

i'm done with this format. i'm going to try to write a program in java (which i'm still learning to use) that will allow for a more comprehensive test format. writing an actual test by this method is likely to be a rather long-term project.

Just remember : easyTIM is public domain - you may modify it and publish it however you want. You may even sell it, no matters.

...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.
