I think that you might be ISTp. But it's just a hunch.
You and implied seem similar to me, post-wise.
@ Ms. K.: I'm not sure about INTj, but I realized that both of us seemed to share the same opinion in terms of typing people.
It is possible, but I also believe in the consipiracy that there are numerous members on this board who try and convince all INTjs on this board that they are not in fact INTjs.

I do seem to idealize IxTps though, I wonder if this is type related.
Often when people raise the question of what others think of their type, they seem to assume that everyone has enough information about them to form an opinion. But very often that is not the case. We see it happening all the time. Some new forum member says something about themselves in a short description, and immediately people start to analyze that piece of information and then come to a conclusion about that persons' type. That is not to be recommended. If we don't have quite a lot of relevant information about a person, we should not form an opinion on his or her type, because no typing method is so effective and reliable that we can do that. It is more likely that we would make an incorrect typing in such a case.
So, I wonder, have you posted a thorough description of yourself somewhere, Ms. Kensington? If you have, I'd like to have a link to that description. I also would like to have access to any analyses you might have done yourself about your type, and also test results, etc. If no such information is available, we should not even try to investigate this matter further.
And it is possible, but I feel confident enough in my INTj-Ne type though. Would calling myself Alpha NT and being open to the advances of either ESFjs or ISFps be enough?Originally Posted by Ms. Kensington

i believe my case is different than the one you raised. But in any case I was asking those who disagreed with my type as INTj to say something as to why. Enough information is relative, at least I believe it is as one piece of information would prove functional preference for different people. I suppose there could be some questionaire which normalizes this but I haven't seen it. You should tell me what you would consider enough information, but I will PM you something I wrote to another forum member who PMed me an opinion on my type (though i will remove some names and info to protect the innocent).Originally Posted by Phaedrus

Te/Fi > Fe/Ti imo, based on the types of things that msk and I have talked about throughout the time I've known her. IxTp makes more sense than anything else to me right now, but her type is still not apparent to me.
MSK is my INTj and in "my INTj", there is the word "INTj".
WTF does that mean?Originally Posted by detail
Our line of thinking is too similar for us to be seperate types. The only other person whose sentances I've been able to finish and who can finish mine is my husband (and we've been stuck together like glue for forever) yet Jane can accomplish this from hundreds of miles away via 1's and 0's. I'm sticking to INTj for myself, therefore Jane has no choice but to be INTj. Case closed.

I've never been fully convinced that you're INTj either
I'm starting to think Logos was on to something about the INTj conspiracy theory

@topic... I have no idea what type MSK... You've heven't been on my radar so I don't know you well enough to say either way

They (non Alphas) want to send us (Alphas) the shitty people under the form of INTjs and take from us the cool real ones.
Also, in case i didn't make it clear, MSK and I are mirrors. I am ENTp, she is INTj.

Actually I would say that it is mostly involving Gammas. Though some of it may just involve the first unofficial rule of typing in Socionics: 1) The more that I like something, the more likely it is that it or a person is of either my type or quadra. And conversely, the more that I hate something, the more likely it or a person is of a given type or quadra of my undying and irrational loathing. This principle generally leads Gammas claiming Alphas as Gammas and Alphas claiming Gammas as Alphas. And this 1st Law of Typing is probably most evident in music, movie, and other "What's my Type" threads.Originally Posted by oyburger

Not true. First of all, I <3 msk. Secondly, my doubting of people's types is not related to my like or dislike of them. There's only been one person here who I've ever disliked, and that person was typed correctly. Also, I'm not saying that msk and oyburger aren't INTjs, just that I don't know if they are. I don't see the Ti. And I have seen evidence of msk valuing Fi, but I can't really get into that here.Originally Posted by tcaudilllg
