Default why do Borderlines love me???

When I look back at a lot of my friendships, especially female friendships, it seems that most of them were with people with Borderline Personality Disorder. Is there a Socionics reason that Borderlines are drawn to me, an ENTp?

I think it may be because you tolerate their histrionics. Does your type have that built in anywhere?

We ENTps do not just automatically accept society's standards of belief, behavior, and appearance. I asked my husband why crazy people love me and he said, "Because you tell them it's okay to be crazy." Which.... isn't entirely true... I tell them it's okay to be different (but not unhealthy).

LOL, people with BPD love you too? I'm sorry! What other questions do we both wonder about?

Yeah... It seems we deal with a lot of the same social issues.

But the part about "why are men so needy"... it's not so much needy... why are men so weak?! Show them any attention at all and they break. Dammit. I get along better with men than women, but it seems I can't hang out with men. GRRRRRRRRRRRR And when I finally found a trustworthy guy who wouldn't break so easily what did I do? I decided to make him mine. LOL, I make no sense.

Yes, I know how horrible I sound. Right now I don't care.

It’s all about self-fulfilling prophecy. If I believe I that anyone I make friends with will either a) go crazy or b) allow their feelings to destroy the friendship, then that is what will happen. The problem is that anytime I believe that it won’t happen, it still does. I can’t lose any more friends.

My solution is not to hang out with people or even give any one person an even somewhat large amount of attention.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but you sound, like, really arrogant.

Or maybe the only people you find interesting are the crazy ones, but they're just too crazy.

I know I sound arrogant. But don't you think there are people in existence who have this problem? Maybe it rubs people the wrong way to hear about it, but I felt like ranting…

And I knew that it sounded bad… that’s why I said:
