    Default different "styles" of LII

    I know a lot of LII's, so I can observe differences between LII's :

    Style #1 : Expressive-Eccentric style

expressive, provocative, idiosyncratic, strong intellectual independance and obstinacy, sometimes aggressive and reactive.

    Style #2 : Perfectionistic-Idealistic style

have high ideals, likes to do everything right, scrupulous, pessimistic and reserved, physically strong, ascetic, seems resolute but dissociates easily.

    Style #3 : Schizoid-Passive style

solitary, passive, egocentric, tends to be misanthropic, minimalistic social interaction, only likes people "who deserve to be".

    Style #4 : Empathetic-Social style

likes objectivity, strong and powerful structures, finding solutions for people, very sociable but not that expressive.

Those styles could be related to :

    • neurochemical configurations (e.g. norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin levels)
    • cognitive informations (e.g. memes)
    • socionic subtype systems
    • unknown and undiscovered type theories or other psychological theories

I could be LII #2 or #4. What's the correlation with subtypes? #3 is accepting () and #2 and #4 are producing (), right? Maybe #1 could be accepting, too, but I'm not sure what you mean with expressive, though. #2 and #4 would be producing because of more emphasis on , and #4 sociability would mean , too.

I guess I would be #1. I know a #4, and have a lot of respect for her. As for #3, I haven't seen any. It sounds more INTp.

I suppose I would mostly be #1 with a good dash of #3.

I love the 1 kindof. They're so funny. The 2 are the ones I tend to supervise.

I like #2. Quite a number of them are very attractive too.

I used to be 3 for the majority of my youth.
That lead to 1, and then now obviously into 2, which I realize is 'where it's at' for me. Though I am not 'pessimistic'
4 is a tool I use when doing things in group settings.

One thing to consider in the differentiations amongst them is how they use their - what they think is most important and why.
It almost seems like those are 4 facets of the primary LII, and I would imagine each LII can access each facet. Important factors (in determining which facet shows) would be Fe atmosphere, confidence in understanding of the way things are, relativity of IJ state (what is consistent), and other such things.

Can you think of a reason why #2s stand out more to you in that way?

They take too much time to figure out things that are actually very very simple...

I'm #1, but with elements of #3 (basically, the avoiding society bit ).

I can see why hotelambush and oyburger would choose #1, cuz to me at least, they are N subtypes. It's the 'sometimes aggressive and reactive' bits that sometimes make me think I'm a T subtype (in my defence, my parents are ISTj and ISFj ) - but this description fits me very well.

1 is Ne subtype, 2 is Ti subtype, and 4 is somewhere in the middle.

I think #4 is similar to ENTp T subtype, so yeah somewhere in the middle. I agree with hotelambush that #3 seems more INTp - it could be an unhealthy INTj too, though.

#3 is almost certainly describing an INTp. However, I personally have great disdain for people who hold a misanthropic world view, and file them under "people who deserve to not be"

    I'm mostly style #1.

I started that topic because we don't really know which subtype systems are true. There are a certain number of subtype systems which have varying reliability. I'm talking of course of enneagram, accented functions theory, and crosstype theory. Are there more than 16 IM elements ? Should subtypes describe non-IM things, like neurochemical levels ?
