Why do you always put their middle names in thread titles?

For the sake of variety I suppose. I haven't always done that though. Maybe I should quit, I guess.


I think Regina Spektor is either IEI-ESE or IEI-EIE.

I've always considered her SEI I think, although I can see IEI. My impression is that her music is too joyful to be IEI-like (although of course that is a sweeping generalisation). Perhaps it is even too energetic to be the music of an introvert (!).

Comparing her to Rufus Wainwright (who is of a similar style - i.e. piano-based), who may be an EIE, his music is generally more melancholy and down-tempo and far more focussed on his relation to society (although admittedly that is partly due to him having a cause), while her songs are more about close relationships (i.e. how the writer relates to friends etc.).

IEE is what I believed for you. What made you settle on IEE?
