More importantly you guys appear to really know your stuff. So much so that I'm inclined to take a step back and do some more reading and homework before doing any more opining. There seems to be a whole lot more to this socionics than I first imagined.

Not all love and praise i've developed for the theory though. Encompassing could mean promising. Could also mean I'm setting myself up for a big waste of time. So Im also going to step back to consider if this really is a whole "new psychology" or just the next phrenology.

Just based on your brief posting history I would say that you are from Gamma or Delta most likely:

Maybe on those very complicated tests the very high IQ societies give Ne matters more. But nobody cares about those tests anyway, not anyone in academia, corporate America, the real world. That high of whatever it is these tests measure seems to ecounter your "diminishing returns" at that point in the RL. It's the more mainstream tests I'm thinking of, Wechsler, Binet, SAT, GRE..they don't seem to me that Ne-intensive relative to what most people can do, but maybe I'm biased. I don't know if I'm Ne dominant but I do find myself fighting the clock on these things instead of being stumped not seeing connections.

PS Whether creativity can actually be measured independent of intelligence is debatable, but what aspects in particular do you find interesting?
Intelligence is actually positively correlated with intellectual achievement and even socio-economic status up to the very highest levels.
The high-IQ societies tend to suffer from self-selection bias which rather distorts "the big picture".
