    Default i respect them

That display of such ... weakness ... was unappealing to me. Just so blatant. It really doesn't have anything to do with 'infantile' or any other dichotomy set, it was just a sort of ... glorifying incompetence or weakness.

yeah and yet the intj is not incompetant at all. but rather super genius and so he basically should have someone standing guard and enforcing (though gently in the alpha sense) civility in the intjs presense.

the world is already so anti-intellectual these days. intjs really just need someone who is clever and takes joy in things and is beautiful. who can blame them.

    Default Rational Si/Ne duality forum

    Hello again

I am looking to discuss how the rational caregiver/infantile systems of duality work. In both cases it seems the IN is sort of looking and subconsciously waiting for the forwardness of the ES.

Would you say it is customary for the IN to not have any intentions of "asking for help" at all, but at the same time, being welcome and secretly appreciating the ES's Si and care, even if the IN doesn't really like to say it?

what are your thoughts on this, and other notable aspects of this relationship
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

    Default Caregivers

Discuss common relationship situations, problems, and things that work.
It does not have to be "significant other" kind of relationships, it can be anything.

One thing I experienced with an ESE lately was her disappointment when i didn't react favorable to her attempts at trying to do something nice for me. It was like "don't you see all the work i am doing for you?" and then she got mad and short and left, basically.

I realized I just did that too with someone - I "go out of my way to do something nice for you", and then when it doesn't work, I get indignant.
