Default Duals forcing each other to deal with unpleasant subjects

Any of you have found this to be true?

Duals seem to force you to deal with affairs you would better divert away from your mind but that if diverted accumulate and create a clutter hard to polish.

As an example i was speaking with an INFp girl on msn, she forced me to outlet all the times I have suffered for a feeling-realted matter. At first I was extremely recultant and I tought it was manipulative, but then after having done it I felt much better.

if you are a or type it seems like you'd be more likely to relate with duality being slightly abusive.

Any type can be truly abusive (emotionally, physically, sexually, whatever).

As far as duals pushing you to do things you don't want to do, if they're not unhealthy, then the things they push you to do are exactly the things you need to be pushed to do. Different types push in different ways.

Maybe duals have an inclination to make you realize things you do not generally realize.

i dunno if they force you particularly? It seems more like everyone tries to force you but the dual is the only one who is successful.

i think that feeling of abusiveness probably resulted from being pushed to revive a side of you that is weak/dormant. it's like, "come on, let it out, let it out!"

in my dual relations it also seemed that if there was not enough respect for eachother, both me and her became abusive in some sort of way. it occurred a couple of times with different people, so it almost looks a recurring pattern.

Yes, and you should even welcome it. If you feel consistently "abused" - I mean consistently - then conflict or supervision is more likely than duality.

    That makes sense.
(It is clear my dual would have leading.)

It almost seems like the weakest function is not the polr, but rather dual seeking. Weakest as in most easily influenced by others, outside of your sphere of influence. Polr seems the internal battle, dual seeking is simply beyond your control, save for choosing what environment to put yourself in.

    I agree with you.
I think the dual seeking is the weakest. My Si is really weak IMO.

Duals abuse each other from their own perspective, but usually not from the perspective of the other.

For example, if you need lots of Si, you might feel guilty that your dual does a lot of practical stuff for you. But for a Si dominant, that is pretty much natural. It's like saying that someone who needs a lot of Ne abuses an ENxp for asking for advice on possibilities and explanation of phenomena constantly.
