She was a philosopher. She lived for a short time, I think she was born to a Jewish family, but her writings are more or less focused on the Christian way of thinking.
A bit unknown for a long time, I think she was rediscovered some time after her death. Her writings (especially Gravity and Grace) painted her as some kind of radical religious anarchist in some way. Really leftist thinking, her writings influenced me a great deal.
