    Default music with Delta mood

No, not music that Delta types like, but music that generally gives off Delta mood and vibes.

I think songs by Damien Rice and James Blunt would be good examples. I think.

Hahahaha! I'm obsessed with that song. That and Summer Skin are really great.

Also try "Right Where It Belongs" by NIN.

I find that album boring, I can listen to it maximum 10-15 minutes.

    This, I think, sounds delta:

let's see, I may not fully understand delta moods, but this sounded like an olde delta song:

    Ditto. I like 10 Years.

And "This Land is Mine" by Dido.

From behind these walls I hear your song
    Oh, sweet words
The music that you play lights up my world
    The sweetest that I’ve heard
Could it be that I’ve been touched and turned
Oh Lord, please finally…finally things are changing

    [Chorus:]
This land is mine but I’ll let you rule
I let you navigate and demand
Just as long as you know…this land is mine
So find your home and settle in
Ohhh, I’m ready to let you in
Just as long as we know…this land is mine

After all the battles and the wars
    The scars and loss
I’m still the queen of my domain
    and feeling stronger now
The walls are down a little more each day
Since you came, finally…finally things are changing

    [Chorus]

Follow the days I’ve travelled alone
In this cold and colorless place till now
It’s what I had to pay

    [Chorus]

This land is mine and I let you rule
I let you navigate on demand
Just as long as you know…this land is mine

I think I'm prolly the only one here who likes James Blunt. The type of music I like are pop, jazz, R&B, 90's music and love ballads. But I don't like country and hiphop. I used to be a big fan of Mariah Carey, until she decided to experiment with hiphop.

Who knows. I have a "filter" for voice. I don't pay attention to song letters at all - they generaly are worthless anyway. Most of the music I hear is just that, music, without any voice on it.

You can't deny the music on that one is quite good. Guitar + piano rocks.

    Eggsactly!

When I was a child, I didn't understand lyrics at all. When I say that, I mean that I literally didn't even understand that the vocalists were using words at all.

I thought they were just making vocal type noises just to match the music.

What does that say about me as an ISTp? Am I broken? I don't know.

Yeah Imogen heap is cool i like that song Hide and Seek. I love Hybrid too but i dont think music type is very quadra related. Probablly type related somewhat tho.

My ESTj friend used to love Punk (No use for a name, The Ataris etc). I liked them too.

Im listening to this cool song called C'mon Come on (loose an endless longing) by A Silver Mt Zion.. An ENTp sent it too me though. I quite like ENTp tastes in music

There are many factors including type that cause people to respond to music. I met an ESFP many years ago and he had a ton of music I came to love. Later I had an ENFJ roommate and he also had music I liked but of a slightly different nature. I also noticed he had some of the same music that the ESFP had. AN INFJ I know has some of the same music but some more obscure music that I also fell in love with. Basically I just go around collecting music from all of my friends so with me its almost anything goes. I think people tend to like the music that most speaks to them at a certain time in life. Certain music will appeal to a large demographic of different types because they are in the same age group or perhaps where they are from or what they happen to be into at the time. Also it depends on the amount of airplay certain songs get. If you hear a song enough it will have a better chance to grow on you. If it is associated with a movie or event all the more so. Possitive reinforcement.[/list]
