Why do all the sli videos consist of some boring guy explaining how something works or how to put something together? Why can't it ever be someone just being normal and not as boring as a rock? I've never had the urge to put car parts together. I'll post a video of myself.

    No I won't.

Well, if it doesn't involve you putting stuff together or explaining how something works, you'll be delegated to Alpha in no time

They are boring to you because they are wrong. That gun guy^ is my LSI dual, dang it, not your identical. He has none of the mysterious reserve that makes me want to leap across the table and drag words out of the mouths of IPs. So attractive, and yet so annoying.

One of my SLI friends died and I went to his funeral on Monday. He was such a rare person. Slow to speak, careful, deliberate, shunning of any attention on himself. People like my friend don't go out to make videos or want to be in anyone's video, so they are hard to find.

I have looked for hours trying to find an example of someone like him. I have a few videos of Chris Cooper that come the closest to demonstrating the slow, non-Fe speech, the IP body movements, even an interest in economical behavior. Some might say Cooper is LSE, but he seems less uptight and more perceiving. I haven't researched his type carefully, his manner is what I want to show. Here are 2 interviews. In the second one he speaks of what it is like to have the unusual experience of "exploding."

The most revealing part is after 3:13.

Thanks, @aisa. I will miss him so much. He loved his family and took good care of them. Interestingly, his wife and children were all EP temperament. He was the rock and their household ran smoothly due in part because of his quiet influence. He loved the occasional EP shenanigans.

I can't express to you what a simple and quiet man he was. And yet there were probably 200+ people at his funeral. (He would have hated that large crowd!)

I am going to post a video of Sam Neill because my SLI friend was so like him. Every now and then something about Neill makes me think Alpha, so I am not totally sure. He is more animated than my friend, but the warmth and expressions are very similar.

@Iris it sounds like he was a really good person. I'm sure he will be missed... and in time remembered bringing warmth to people's hearts when they think of him...

@aisa, Rebecca Hall seems super EII to me

Please don't take it the wrong way, but she seems like a person with whom I would have a conflict irl. She would be seriously annoyed by me and I in return wouldn't like her That was always my impression on her, since I first saw her in a movie.

oh come on, I thought you me? It's ok, I wouldn't go as far as saying I wouldn't like you irl though (I know you were talking about Rebecca ). We're so much more than just a type, otherwise every 16th person in the world would be the same. Tbh Idk if we'd annoy each other irl - maybe we would, maybe we wouldn't...

Nooo, I really like you I know we're more than types, I have a good EII friend and we love each other. She's amazingly understanding, the best listener and always gives the best advice to my weird problems. But I think I'm way too much for her when in big groups of friends or at a party - she prefers serious sober discussions with max 4 people. I don't know any other EII's to compare. Where do you all hide ?

I was talking specifically about Rebecca - she seems so judgmental, like she would just roll her eyes at me

awww yeah I'm not a fan of really big groups, I mean I don't mind them but in such a group I always end up talking to one person at a time anyway, and quite often it is one person throughout the whole thing if the conversation is interesting. Meetings in groups of 4 are very nice. But I wouldn't say that I like only serious discussions. I like them, yes, but I like to joke around too (just probably people in such a large group won't know about it, cause I go into "off" mode, lol )

I can't speak for everyone. I hide mainly at home (my husband told me a few months ago "you don't like people" and I was like "what? I like people, I don't meet with them all the time, but it doesn't mean I don't like them"; admittedly though when my best friend told me that she sometimes doubted whether I like her cause we used to meet so rarely (and I adore her) - I decided I need to make changes), sometimes meeting a friend (usually one-on-one or a meeting of 2 couples, usually at one of the couple's homes, sometimes an outing together, sometimes a night out with a small group of friends (I like dancing and don't like big places, I usually go to one place (since I was a teen a while ago, and when I say usually, I mean that I went there a few times this year due to my friend's initiative cause prior to that it was probably a few years, which is embarassing). I like going to the cinema Sometimes a party (usually a birthday celebration) organised by a larger group of friends (my husband's friends). I'm kind of boring, lol. With a vivid internal life.
But recently I took notice of this and am trying to get more proactive outings-wise

I was talking specifically about Rebecca - she seems so judgmental, like she would just roll her eyes at me
you know, I think I've seen only one film with her and the above interview plus maybe half of another and I didn't pay too much attention to what she was saying, I was so focused on what she was doing, lol so Idk if she's judgemental or not
I'm judgemental but I tend to hide it well and slap myself in thoughts for it and remind myself to think about another person's point of view and this makes me have a "live and let live" approach.

Haha. I usually suck at identifying similarities between myself and other people, but for some reason I can easily see myself in this guy. I think he's definitely Si/Ne peak, and an intratim.

He was hilarious in this movie:

I've long thought that Richmal Compton, author of the Just William books was some Delta NF...I think it would be difficult to decide between the types due to the nature of her life, but perhaps IEE would be best.

As we reach for the stars, we must put away childish things; gods, spirits and other phantasms of the brain. Reality is cruel and unforgiving, yet we must steel ourselves and secure the survival of our race through the unflinching pursuit of science and technology.
