Each one of us think that the other person's method of motivating other people is very wrong, but both of us tend to act in very similar ways if placed in the same situation, and also have similar reactions to the same happening, but where one of us criticizes in order to make the other person correct the mistake, the other tries to motivate via words or via wit. In spite of a similar outward behaviour, there are very visible fights due to the inablity of both parties to reiceve any criticism, so even if the collaboration starts on the same wavelenght, any attempt at working after a bit ends basically in a fist-fight where none of the two parties ever concedes being wrong.

or both parties are thinkers
but they can't be an ExFx-IxTx/ExTx-IxFx pair, only either ExTx/IxTx or ExTx/ExTx or ExFx/ExTx

Illusionary? I don't think so - I've seen illusionary relationships and they're different. Mirrors, is a good guess though, and possible.

It could be that those peole are ISTj-S. My relation with them seems different than the one with ISTjs-S though. I thought they could be, also, actually, other ESTps trying to use Se on me. The last possibility, ESTj-ESTp relationship, or ESTp (them) ESFp (me), or ESTp (them) ENTp (me).
