but i agree with gilligan...could be sle or ile, i'm leaning more toward ile.

Phil Ivey is very different from typical ILE poker players at the table. He keeps a very low profile, he's quiet, modest, and definitely gives the impression of being an introverted type of some sort. Compare him with Daniel Negreanu, who is probably an ILE. Also, SLEs and other extraverted poker players usually talks a lot more at the table. Most of them don't try to hide that they are extraverts.

Yeah, that would be my first guess too.

I'm slightly skeptical about SLI for Ivey, though. Maybe, but somehow I get the impression of an ethical IP. On the other hand, an ethical type is unlikely for other reasons. I have no clear opinion about Ivey's type yet.

Might be right on the ILE........... I'm pretty sure he's an ExTp-Ti by eye movements. He's definitely got the Ti stare down.
