The cop didn't come barging in, yelling; he told them very clearly and calmly that they couldn't ride there, but due to the little brat, had to use some force. The cop is not a preacher. The cop is not his father. The cop has no legitimate use of power. He was given authority by the US goverment for a reason, to keep order on the street. If you watch the video it's obvious he's not keeping order. Instead he's provoking hostility and deliberately abusing his authority to go batshit on nervous 14 year olds because it makes him feel better. There is nothing "logical" in submitting to authority if the figure in question does not deserve it. There is nothing "logical" in "not making a scene" and letting the cop bathe in his power fantasies.

about the original video. yes, the guy is acting like an ass. an interesting thing, for me, is that he VIs just like my drywall guy, whom i got along great with and thought was an ESTj. nice, straightforward, down to earth, into football. i ask lots of questions and he enjoyed answering them and teaching me about everything they were doing. he gave me hints about painting the kitchen. hubby and he talked ball for hours, they are both dolphin fanatics.
In case anyone was wondering, I didn't "type" the kid as INFp or the dad as ESTj, particularly. It's a music video and they are on screen for a little bit. It was somewhat of a lighthearted suggestion as to what an INFp (or perhaps beta NF) would think about in terms of rebelling against the negatives of their opposing quadra, etc.
