I want one, but I don't like pain... if I ever go to prison then hell ya (because prison tats are made of awesome)
I don't know if I told this story before but I have friend who got some stuff on his leg. In a spot that was supposed to filled in later the tattoo guy wrote "I love black dick" as a joke. lol my friend never went back to get it filled in![]()
lol.
They don't hurt at all. Not for me, anyways. Who knows. I have some ideas as to what I want. We'll see.
I find tattoos pretty damn sexy on women, tbh. I'd like to get some myself, but I'd have to come up with something really sweet that I could tolerate forever because that's really the only way I can see myself willing to make that kind of committment. So far I haven't visualized anything on that level yet. I've considered going all out and getting a huge ass tattoo all over my back, but realistically, I'd probably start with something on the guns.

Once you get one, you want more. They're addictive. I'm thinking of something on the back...for now. Tomorrow i'm sure i'll change my mind and that's never good when it comes to tattoos.
i like them. i'll have at least one...before too long. im unsure as to what sort of commitment i'd want to make and can't quite think of anything original enough to be worth it. i'm not even that bothered by tattoo's cover a large surface area.

What does the process involve in getting a tattoo? Does it take very long?

My Dad has a biker tat on his left shoulder, and from a very early age I noticed it and wanted a tattoo of my own. But I didn't know what I wanted, so instead of getting one as soon as I turned 18, I had pretty much given up on the desire.
When I was 19, a car wreck caused me to need surgery that left me with a huge scar down my abdomen, and that made me feel like I'd been marked. It rekindled my interest in getting ink, because at that point it was about choosing a mark - symbolically overcoming the mark I already unwillingly bore. But it still took me to the age of 22 to design and draw the unique tribal-inspired pattern that I eventually got inked on my left shoulder. I am still in love with it, 11 years later.
It only hurt in one area, right over the socket of the shoulder. That really felt like a needle pushing into my skin. Otherwise, it just felt like a buzzing sensation.
I wanted more immediately, but it took me another four years to come up with another design. This balanced out my shoulders. Now I'm dreaming of calf sleeves, and it could yet be years before they're dialed in.
I love tattoos, as long as obvious care and consideration has gone into the choices of design and placement. The cost is not that high, considering that it's fucking permanent!!
The only cautions I would give are:
1. canvas as many artists as you can find before settling on one,
2. look at photographs of *their* work, not the flash or examples of other people's designs, and
3. ensure that hygenic practices are followed. The artist should bring this up him/herself, but if you like the artist and the info isn't volunteered, ASK!
