Augusta's description says otherwise
Black (extraverted) sensing
Perceives information about what might be called objects' "kinetic energy" — for example, information about how organized/mobilized a person is, his physical energy and power, and his ability to make use of his willpower or position and exercise his will in opposition to others'. This perception implies the ability to tell what reserves of "kinetic energy" people have and how useful they can be in getting things done. It defines the individual's ability or inability to exercise his willpower and energy in opposition to the will and energy of other people.
When this element is in the leading position, the individual possesses exceptional personal force/will. He is a born organizer of anything. He has the ability to mobilize people to achieve a goal and is able to make use of and manage animate and inanimate objects. Is able to work with things (objects) and reproduce almost any objects based on available samples. This is a reflection of his ability to organize material. These people are known for their striving to materialize their will, energy, and power, and for their desire to impose their will on others.

That hardly means they are all going to be noticeably forceful, pushy, or jockish. One of my best friends is Se-SLE, and he's one of the biggest fucking fairies I know. My closest friend is Se-SEE, and he's a major wuss. But they know what they are capable of, and what others are capable of, how to take initiative, and they know how to mobilize themselves and make the most efficient use of their physical energy.
Would you believe Jim Carrey is an SLE?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
I wasn't particularly referring to the overbearing sort of persona that's associated with Se (i.e like Mike Tyson). Even so, types with strong, especially valued, Se produce an external confidence/dominance in their environment that I simply don't see in Norton; he actually seems rather wimpy (and I don't mean that as an insult really, since I'd say I come off even more wimpier)
The majority, if not all, of the acknowledged Socionists describe the IE's along the same lines that Augusta defined them as, more or less. I have yet to see anyone, even translated by people who know Russian and English fluently like Rick DeLong, define them in opposition to hers (aside from some people on here)Some of it is probably poorly translated and has lost context from Russian->English. Let us also not forget that Aushra isn't the final authority on the nature of functions and their manifestations in human behavior.
Anything else?
But yes, you're free to disagree with Augusta and use a separate theory, or even define your own, but than we're not really having a Model A, classical Socionics, discussion.
It would be the equivalent of using math to have a discussion on English literature, neither is necessarily wrong in its information, though the sources and application is too different to be discussed simultaneously

I like how you contrast "Model A" with "Jung" using the word "original." It's awesome, I think you should think more about it.

Don't worry, I didn't miss your point. It's still ironic. And stupid.

And wrong.

AND YOU GOTTA HELP US
The problem though is even though "basically everyone" utilizes classical socionics, there's still very little consensus as to what the IEs are, how they are defined, how they manifest in a type, etc etc etc etc. Sure the framework is used a lot, but the content tends to be all over the place.
At least we all pretend to understand each other speaking English.
Which I am attempting to solve. READ BITCHEZ, READ AND COMMENT

In Painted Veil he seemed INTj to me but he looked totally ENTp Ti.
Oh dear, I've come back after some time away from the forum (enneagram obsessed... now have to start checking here for those threads), to find nary a single person declaring Ed Norton an IEE. If anyone did post that earlier, I apologize for missing it.

I like ILE that would be my impression at first glance
I think he's an Ne-ego (not ENTp). In any case, he has remarkable range as an actor, so it's pretty silly to judge him based on his roles.
ILE
Iei?
AHX had me considering SLE, given how easily he got into the character, an obvious one. But his presentation and overall energy point more to Ne, likely alpha NT.
